    Hi - we were in Tokyo in November last year and took a lot of guidance from your videos! This video on Ginza (especially with the recommendation of the Seiko Museum and Nissan showroom) were also very helpful. Thank you so much!

    Kenchan, you totally changed how I envisioned Ginza. Before I thought Ginza was a place only for high-end luxury brands. However, you showed me there are many household brand names that launch their flagship stores to exhibit all their goods and crafts! I will definitely take my family there next time and print all our faces on the coffee XD

    • @tokyokenchan
      @tokyokenchan  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you. Ginza is easily misunderstood as high end brand shops are outstanding, but there are flagship stores of Japanese reasonable brands, show rooms of Japanese companies, and shops of different regions of Japan. I have those locations on the Google map in the description. :) I hope you and your family have a great time in Ginza!

    Thanks again Ken. My friend and I are actually staying in Ginza right now, and it is surely a magical place to be, especially at night. Also, to update you on our Shinjuku Goen visit yesterday, we really appreciate your video advice on reserving our tickets online for the weekend holidays. There were a lot of people waiting outside, but for those who already reserved their tickets, it was a breeze to get in. Thanks again. 🌸

    Hello Ken-chan. I was over in Ginza the other day. It is a high end shopping area, though I did not think Ginza is any different from other ritzy areas in other cities in the world. Tourist will not come away with any particular authentic Japanese experience. Much less, unless you are wealthy, there are not many options for reasonably priced places to eat or shop. Of course, some people might enjoy spending money on items that can be procured in their own country. I would place Ginza far down on the list of places to go in Tokyo. With love.
