the s2 passive seems more like a defensive tool to prevent units like peira,aol, or any unit trying to keep her from going back into stealth. unit like celine punish non- attack skill then Festive Eda is the punish aoe/ buff strip skills (not ml luna).
I think the thought process behind her activation method is the stealth is like a button you don't want to press. Most openers have some sort of aoe buff/strip or attack; both of which *remove* stealth. You have her speed be be fast enough to basically intercept the bridge between openers and the rest of the team, then disrupt. Why have it give it stealth check instead of making the s2 proc condition target enemy aoe usage like aola for example? Well honestly, I just think its easier as a concept to understand what does and doesn't proc her, instead of giving a new ultra specific passive mechanic in description. Basically just inducing less mechanic creep as at the end of the day her mechanic is just "am I stealthed or naw". Aside from that, it also protects her from single target openers; basically like zio or lua, and then also by potential bridges to those openers like ML Roana. There will be matches that she probably does absolutely nothing, but I think its fine. She's a response to a specific type of draft and unit; said draft and units are pretty popular now. She is also clearly pretty fanservicy so they know people will probably pull her off of that anyway, so she doesn't have to be another limited like MGL or Laia who punish people who don't summon on their limited banner at the time due to their meta relevancy (aka me cuz I'm salty I took a break at BOTH times those characters happened to be released). She's closer to like LHC or Byblis who's power spikes or falls depending on the meta. I guess idk I'm still pulling her cuz that's my new rep hero lol. Imagine you enter your guild hall with 10 summer edas with the lobby animation...yea tell your guildmates to summon her too lol
She kinda feels like cleave anti cleave, if that makes sense. You make her descently fast. If someone is trying to go really fast with peira/ram, she can disrupt their turn 1 play with s2, and if they skip turn 1 with their opener to play around s2, she uses s3 and silences the entire team. And you can't Zio her because of stealth. Thats probably the best case scenario in a realistic setting, don't know how reliable that will be.
I don't know about your logic on the stealth part of her kit. Obviously she is not meant to be like an opener/cleave unit with this stealth thing. She is a stealth unit with control just like Solitaria
she will always have shyness when her cd is done there's no need to get hit bc stealth is only at the start of the battle and at the end of the turn not start of the turn so stealth will go away at the turn and she will get shyness
Its so you cant single target burst her with someone like.. Zio? Shes literally an aoe counter cleave/debuff unit. She would be unplayable if attackable no stealth, and then gets an advantage if they do. Forces Piera, Ran, Briseria, Nakwol, ATwywin, etc to open with S1 instead unless they wanna get slapped by EDA
Her s2 makes no sense to me. The strip is on the s2 which goes AFTER her s3. So the debuffs from her s3 wont even work. And its on a 5 turn cooldown and doesn't even work unless u get hit first. This unit does nothing.
Nah she definitely isn't an anti-cleave , cause she will get killed right on spot, she's more like counter to heavy debuffers characters like Peira, Fenebria , Aramintha, AOL, and can be good against counter units as well , basically she punishes characters that has to use AOE attacks to get max potential, I see why people think she is bad ,because she doesn't answer to anything that is breaking the meta, but saying she's useless is too harsh

I like her design a lot. But I do really like Eda overall, and I use her quite a bit as a cleaver.
If the oponent breaks her stealth she punishes him by push back/strip and heavy debuff
