Part 7: • Boosie on Son Saying H...
Part 1: • Boosie on Saying VladT...
    --------
In this clip, Vlad and Boosie discuss the impact of being born into fame, drawing comparisons to the experiences of King Harris, son of rapper T.I. Vlad describes his struggles as the child of immigrant parents and achieving success as a DJ, emphasizing the benefits of having a famous parent to guide a child's professional journey. He celebrates the success of Ice Cube's and Denzel Washington's sons in acting, urging the children of famous artists to harness their inheritance to succeed, without embracing the harsh realities their parents may have rapped or acted about. Boosie echoes this sentiment but points out the difficulty for a rapper's child to gain authenticity and respect if they haven't lived the life their lyrics suggest. He also emphasizes the dangers of aspiring to a violent lifestyle, imploring his own kids and others to follow their parents' footsteps in music or acting, but not in their potentially damaging lifestyles.

It depends how you look at it. One could say the Boosie and T.I. were rappers who rapped about their experiences and were successful enough to escape that lifestyle. The issue is that their kids didn't live that life. And I don't think either of them would be supportive of anyone pretending to be from the hood and rapping like they're really from the mud.

    • @StJahshuaG

@@JELIFISH19 I don't agree. That would imply that they only rapped in past tense when referring to their experiences and that wasn't the case. They rapped about doing immoral things in a present and future tense. I don't care to soften the reality of what they did to make it look like they had good intentions. What they ought to do is denounce all the evil things they said and make that clear.
One thing I'm sure they're supportive of is people listening and being glad to hear their evil lyrics that influences people to do those wrong things. How you gon tell people not to do wrong but encourage them to listen to the music that promotes doing the wrong?? That's hypocrisy!!

Really be that next generation winner that your parent sacrificed so much for. People will love and respect that for real. It's the "heartwork".. You can be cool and give back and run it like a "big dog"... Kindness & giving is really popping to be honest. A whole lot of good press from a good place = blessings.

@@blessedbetit665 Personal adjustments and life lessons continue to develop until you die; that's not the same as identity per se.
Identity is rooted in what you believe you represent to yourself and how you desire (or in some cases, how you feel you've been forced) to be viewed by others in the world based on principles that were conveyed to you in early childhood.
It's all about the lineage you either designate to yourself physically based on your bloodline/physical semblance or figuratively based on beliefs you culturally feel close to in your personality and behavioral tendencies.
Behavioral and emotional traits become very well established pretty much permanently by age 14 to 15, regardless of how much life experience you have or will receive up until that point and beyond. Those personality traits will pretty much stay consistent for the rest of your life, and that's the foundation of your identity.
So yeah, that was a correct age. Usually, by age 16, a kid pretty much accepts their personality as being a part of who they are because, at that point, they come to realize that the cognition of the brain is just wired like that, and there's nothing they can really do about it.
This is just what I've observed across most cultures and various groups of people.

@@J_mel_ are you comparing someone who is in the armed service fighting another country with a group of people to someone who's on the street selling drugs, doing gambling or whatever the fuck they want to do and killing nine people for money and overpower. If that's the case you need to stop watching movies

@johnand2329 Just saying war is war. Two different neighborhoods going to war over drugs/territory is just as bad as two countries going to war over territory ,drugs, oil money.

If that's the way you want to justify it, I don't know man and I'm no saint but where I'm from you kill nine people. You're a serial killer and to be honest with you, if you are part of a crew and you're walking around killing nine guys, bringing heat to the rest of them, a real person who's a gangster. They're going to end up killing you because at the end of the day that brings a lot of fucking heat

He saying Tootie will have to get it in like that because to be a gangsta he'll have to top him in numbers and it's failed to be realized that the work was put in for them to have everything they got now because shit real and too many don't make it out like that when been deep in.
