Brian we had a year I think it was 1978 tornado came through and knocked the corn over. very bad. It took us forever to pick that year but so much ears on the ground. Dad gave the corn to the youth group of our church a wagon and tractor to pick up for them to make money. He even shelled it for them after they got a wagon load he put it through the combine. The group made enough money to buy the church a piano that year and we didn't have as much volunteer corn. Of course you can't get kids to work that hard anymore but the group was wanting to do more than bake cookies that year and worked hard..glad you are about done with beans.
It's insane how expensive (and over-complicated) tillage implements are these days. I'm very glad we don't need to do much tillage. That machine is about $200k new in Canada. Crazy. Even a new chisel plow is over $100k.
I’m wondering 🤔 if you added manure to the sandy soil fields would it add organic matter and create darker rich soils? Here in Washington State my Grandfather who Farmed his entire life from Minnesota, then Nebraska, then Arlington Washington State here. He also had a large about 100 by 200 ft. The soil was magnificent. Brown fluffy and soft thick consistency of mashed potatoes dry though. He had a pure soil with cow, and chicken manure blended well with a rototiller. It had little tractor tires and deep penetration about 3 ft if desired. Grandpa used to have us over for weekend visits. I looked forward to being there when he prepared for planting and got to help him. He had a 30’s Ford tractor with a little plow and a disk implements. I was fascinated by the tractor I loved riding with Grandpa.😢 really miss him so much. I think of him everyday. I remember walking through the dirt rows picking green beans and carrots and corn 🌽 cobs in the Summer. I was lucky to have that much time with him some of my Cousins lived farther away and didn’t get there often. What a Blessing I Have from growing up with a wise Farmer ❤😌🖖🏼🇺🇸
How does Kayla like those Factor meals? She says Factor is much better than taco salad! Says you should order enough for the whole family 3 meals a day!

Back in the day you could turn the hogs and cattle out in the field
What a Awsome job. I was Awsome of your father to have them do that. It was a Win Win for both of you all. God bless you all.
Great Video Brian, That Salford seems like a great machine, thanks for sharing
Great video Brian. Thanks for sharing! Love the Salford equipment…all seems to do a great job
Yeah! Drone footage!
From watching Larson's and their trials with Salford tools, they really have done a lot of research and thought into how they design things.
Omg ! You cleaned the windows !!😂
Let BJ know there is a support group starting for us Bungal fans. "un fn beleivable"
It's amazing how terrible they are. Like holy crap
Most versatile tillage tool ever!!
Salford makes some very nice equipment.
Tell your brother nice game. Go Birds!!!

Looks good to me! God bless you all
Like the tool. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 😊
Very interesting being able to lift shanks out, be a big advantage in rocky ground
A better commercial would be Mrs. Brown running your factor meal to the field for you.
Nice tool. Would fit your farm very good.
Great video!
Good video good to see y'all

Considering you've no air system on that flexible cutting head it is doing a pretty good job. 😉
Nice video brian. And your dad is maverick. You two get too fill in from there
Degleman Pro Till puts a Salford to shame!
Kayla: ‘That’s a hard no.’
great video
Clearly, if Brian is Maverick, BJ is iceman
Mornin'! BJ, sorry about your Bengals.
Good video.
Morning and if I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening and good night.
Good video , How is season going running one combine compared to running 2 combines last corn and soybean season?
The rear view of the Salford doesn't indicate how large a tool that it is. We don't have a horse big enough to try one. Nice concept.
Factory foods in the microwave are worthless lol 😂 but I guess better than fast food 🎉❤😂😊
🇨🇦👍

You need 5400 Salford
If it’s under 40 feet it’s a waste of time an fuel
You still driving a '71 Lincoln Continental Bob....?!? 🤔🙄😆
