    Should be noted that there was a pretty decent left to right cross wind on some of these field throws. You can see it smash a couple discs. We’re getting a super cool upgrade to the setup for wind reads next disc review. What did you think about the pocket radar addition?

      This formatting is incredible - great review. The radar is a perfect addition for anybody who owns one/has used a techdisc and knows their average speed

    Love the speed graphic. Helpful for people to know how it will fly for them assuming they know their speed. Also just appreciate having 3 levels of thrower to show the variance. The two components together is just *chef's kiss*

    Great video. Glad to see real distances and arm speeds rather than, "What a throw that went 500 feet for sure."

    Quality of content here is top notch. The photography, editing, effects, and overall production is so good. Very thorough demonstration too. I had to go pick up two of these babies with this sick stamp!

    I fell in love with Clash recently, so just had to get all 3 of the custom stamps I saw on the site. Hopefully you guys get some berries soon as that is one of my favorites right now. Then I can have a OT cat stamp in almost every category in my bag haha!

    I would like to congratulate Dakota on being the only one of the group to actually throw the disc flat for the "RHBH FLAT" segment.

    The Steady Cookie for me - lower arm speed - feels very nice and comfortable in the hand shape wise, but the one I received has a VERY rough texture around the outer edges of the disc. I cannot say how this affects the flight but it's something to be concerned about especially when ordering them online. For me it is very stable and not as much glide as my Metal Flake TeeBird. I very much wanted to replace my stable fairway drivers with a Cookie but I cannot get it to fly anywhere near as far. I lose maybe 50ft of distance when I compare it to my MF TeeBird or Champ Eagle. I love the Steady plastic and just about every other Clash disc I throw - Berry, Peach, Vanilla, Salt, Soda, Butter, Popcorn Peppermint- But the Cookie is not for me, unless I can find a better mold/run that I can push more than the TB. At $20+ a pop I cannot justify buying more to find out.

    I had to grab myself one of these cookies and somehow a honey and peach also ended up in my cart… 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can’t wait to get my hands on these new disc! P.S. Thank you so much for the extra details about the purple cookie being slightly more flippy. It’ll be perfect for my bag!

    It's odd, everytime i watch a disc suggestions video I have to google where they are from. Bedford Virginia is 306m(1003ft) and where I live it's 1045m(3438ft) this also dictates the flippy nature of the disc due to air density. Its not Butte Montana but it's very much different from sea level.

    I've got one of these coming in today and I'm afraid the Ninja Cat stamp is gonna be too precious to throw 🥹 have you guys tested the Cookie in Tone plastic? I have the Tone Salt and I like it so far. Might have to swing for a Tone Cookie and maybe the Guava when it's available (if it isn't already?). I kinda wish they said the disc name more prominently instead of TONE but that's fine.
    Also I don't know if anyone else is like this but my Clash discs simply have to be in colors that reflect the name. Mango is orange, Mint is baby blue, Cookie is Tan, Cinnamon is Red, Soda is Orange (Who loves orange Soda? Kev loves orange Soda)... So that means as long as the Tone versions have the right color it'll be easy enough to tell em apart at a glance.
    Sidenote I kinda wish I threw a Popcorn so I could get that sick looking Steady Ring version that looks so popcorny.

    • @OverthrowDiscGolf
      @OverthrowDiscGolf  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The current Salts have the name super prominent. I think they just wanted TONE upfront for the earlier stuff. Time cookie was a bit more OS when I tested it.

    • @kevinkevinholt
      @kevinkevinholt 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OverthrowDiscGolf Interesting, I see that version some places yeah. What does Tone feel like for mids/putters? I might pick up the Guava when it's available (conflicting info about whether it's actually out anywhere or not) but idk how they do the different rim for non-drivers. ...and I just realized I already said that about the Guava my bad

    can personally attest that Josh can throw the cookie 400+ backhand. I saw him park a hole at Sandusky Park....I think it was 427 or something to that effect. I was way back of his shot and I was throwing 11 speed driver. So don't let those sub 300's fool you.

    In your clash announcement video you said that the consistency of their discs is one of the reasons for your partnership.
    In my experience, Clash has a huge variety in stability within the same mold(as mentioned here in the purple vs orangey color).
    I know other brands sometimes have similar variability but Clash is the brand I've seen the most discs in the same molds.
    Considering the sheer number of brands and molds you've seen, where do you guys feel Clash scores in consistency?

    • @OverthrowDiscGolf
      @OverthrowDiscGolf  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Mikey here! Thought I’d give you my thoughts. The first batch of discs we were sent were almost 100% on the money stability wise. After getting some more discs I’m definitely convinced they aren’t too far off their numbers but they definitely aren’t as dead on accurate as I thought initially. Turns out they deal with the same woes every company deals with on mold consistency. I will say, however, that this has turned out to be a good thing for me and my bag. That purple cookie is incredible 😂 and I look forward to finding different stabilities with the molds I love.
      But yeah! That’s just me. I’m sure Josh has similar thoughts but I’m sure he will comment as well if his thoughts are different.
