i love this so much sksbskns if you have any advice on how to get started as a drag king, how to develop your persona, etc., or just general tips on drag king-ery, that would be awesome !!
I love how you play with masculinity and femininity, I think it makes you very original! You even look a bit more feminine in drag, haha 💕 I think you’re awesome, you’re such an inspiration 💓
I'm finally exploring my drag king dreams. I found you for makeup first and I couldn't be any more happy! You're awesome and helping me through the pandemic and my lifelong battle to find where i tomboy ass girl belonged. I feel like I belong watching this though. Thank you!
My drag king debut is on Saturday and I have been watching this video RELIGIOUSLY over and over! Not just for the make-up wisdom, but cuz y'all just make me feel so dang good about ME when I watch it!
You are awesome! I feel like I've been doing my cheeks all wrong (shading down and erasing, not up like you do). I think I'm gonna start watching this vid when prepping. Thank you for posting!
There's no wrong way to do makeup! I know plenty of kings who do it your way, with the hard line at the top. Just depends if you wanna accentuate your cheekbones or jaw the most. No harm in trying both!
I've always wanted to be a drag king ever since I figured out this shit's a thing XDD Your videos are genuinely so helpfully and supportive And thank god that you're doing the budget thing bc I'm flat broke! 😃 XDDD
Just found your channel; I love it!! I've been wanting to try drag for a while now but I'm a bit nervous to eff up the contouring and male mannerisms. I am planning to try it for the first time for Halloween 2020. I didn't know any Drag Kings did any crazy makeup looks until I found this video; I am crazy excited to play with that and probably some crazy facial hair styles!
Yesterday i watched this, now im rewatching it again because im about to try it for the first time!! I have no experience with makeup beyond the occasional pencil eyeliner so this is gonna be,,, something
Yaaaaas. I have been waiting for this :D So good. Thank you! Keen to learn more about drag king wigs. Especially your epic mullet ones. Where did you get them from, how did you style them etc etc.
OMFG THANK YOU ABOUT THE NOT BRINGING THE LINE TOO FAR FOR THE CHEEKBONES CAUSE YES THATS MY PROBLEM AND I KNEW THAT WAS THE PROBLEM BUT I WANTED IT YO WOOORK😭😂 THANK YOU
i love your energy! i'd love to start a journey as an nb drag artist, but i have no idea where to start in terms of persona, a look, or anything 🤠 any advice would be greatly appreciated! 💖
Love your videos could you do a video showing which products you use? I’ve been getting into drag and would love to know some tips and tricks and which products are best 😍❤️
Hugo Grrrl Seconded, I need help with spelling of brands make up, I have a bit from trying to be femme at family weddings, but which products are theatrical and which are standard stuff would help. Maybe links?
Holy shit you are amazing! So I'm new to drag and I don't know shit about makeup. Do you have a materials list I could snag? It's mostly the contouring that I am struggling with.
That was amazing! Thank you! My questions are, have you used lace beards or mustaches? If so how do they feel when you are performing, do they feel like they move naturally?
I have! I don't anymore because they're hella spensive and also I like that with crepe you can make it a bit more 3d, often lace stashes are very flat.
Dear @hugoGrrrl Thanks a heaps for the tips! I fo wonder though if you could share what eachbelement of majeup does. Like: why powder at the end? How fo you grease up gour face and why foes ine need moisturizer and rhe grease face stuff. Thanks
Hey just a tip for drag Kings starting out who don't have alot of money for makeup I would recommend Shop Miss A.com they have a bunch of one dollar makeup they also have a section full of makeup that is $1.55 and the extra money goes to a charity of your choice. It definitely helped me out when getting started in drag. Hope this helps you out!
With this vidéo i really think that i want to start drag! At first i was a little confuse but after like 3 secondes i felt such an amazing feeling of satisfaction and i want to feel it again. If you anyone have some advice to start it would be great ! Sorry for my english 😅
One of the best videos I've watched and your king is just amazing! I just started, I know this video is one year old but here's hoping someone has some answers for me :) So, I noticed you use some paste for drawing all the big lines on your face and then contour for smaller areas. Would it be all right to use a contour stick thingy for the whole deal? I have limited makeup. Help me out here. Also, unfrotunately my face isn't angular at all and I'll need to put more work into my jaw line. Can anyone give me some tips on how to literally build angular jaws? Thanks!
Hello! Totally, I am using a contour stick, just with a brush. And yeah, for an angular jaw, experiment with quite harsh dark sharp contour just below your natural chin. Good luck!
I'm a baby drag king as of yesterday when I was invited to join the local drag King troop in my area and I have no clue what I'm doing! Any advice for brand new baby Kings?
@@hugogrrrldragking sadly once COVID hit the troop disbanded and I had to make a go of it on my own but I think I'm doing pretty good! Still going strong ❤️
I'm just a trans guy who's trying to make his over the top alternative make look masculine so thank you for the contour tips
Finally a make up tutorial I don't feel stupid watching, thank you for being your fabulous self.

Magnificent. I learned a lot.
i really need a link for that adhesive and black fill-in you used 😤 ive never seen eye makeup done this way, thank you for new ideas!
The adhesive is just DUO lash glue with a brush applicator! The black on my hairline? Is a sugarpill eyeshadow. Also - thanks so much!
I'm loving drag kings more and more by the day. Thank you for existing ❤️❤️
Luv your makeup 💄 💗 and the choker. Where ya get it from?
Found this SUPER helpful, very interested in doing drag myself, any tips for newbies? 🙏🏼

Such a fun quarantine TH-cam wormhole even if you don't perform
I am drag king to because of you I learned so much for my show as well my make up you are so all some
PerFECTION. Ugh. I learn. I laughed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You should get yourself a “super sponge”. It’s a sponge that has half of it coated in silicone so you don’t waste product, but less to wash than 2 :)
Holy shit you are amazing! So I'm new to drag and I don't know shit about makeup. Do you have a materials list I could snag? It's mostly the contouring that I am struggling with.
I'll hopefully do a new mu tutorial soon, and will do a gear list with that one!
I heard that kiwi accent and I was IN!
This is just a general question, not necessarily for drag, but what are good places to get wigs from?
Some people who cosplay use amazon. Another good place is ARDA wigs! I see tons of coaplayers recommend arda.

Hi! Where can I buy the moustache and the glue? Is there a tutorial for the wig?
No tutorial on the wig sorry! Moustache is made with crepe hair and stuck on with spirit gum, any brand will do.

What white do you yse under your eyebrows? Also where do you get it from?
It is unfortunately Drug Lord (I won't be rebuying once my stash runs out!)
what glitter do you use? ive been looking for a good bio degradable brand?
it's from body fx!
I’ve been trying to figure how to make or where to buy fake facial hair. Any tips?
What do you do for hair? Like if I have really long hair but I don’t necessarily want to cut it. How would you go about masculizing that?
A wig, or pile it all on top of your head and make a pomp out of it! I've seen long haired kings work wonders doin that.
What is the first thing you put on your eyebrows? You say you are blocking them and it looks like a Pritt glue stick.
Yep! Just a glue stick.
How long does your speedyface take?
Eli Joseph like I can get myself stage worthy in 40mins maybe? It ain’t pretty tho!
i want youi to be my dreag papa.........!!!!!
Im glad I'm not the only one who does eyes THEN foundation... There's too much fallout from eye makeup! It ruins my base instantly!
'Biodegradable glitter'
haha lol, I love New Zealand😂
Woooooooooooow beautiful😍❤️😂🏳️🌈
with makeup you look a little bit like freddie mercury :)
this kinda reads like a trixie eye
She's making everything so bold and I'm just like "woah. That's a lot", but she is doing drag lmao. I just usually do more natural.
