Michael loved watching the clouds as you made your way through at least part of your hike. He and I took official weather watcher classes at one of the libraries near us a few years ago so he is really into weather details. It was taught by the Meterologists with the National Weather Services based out of Wilmington Ohio. We were even give a special Weather Watcher 1-800 phone number given to those who take this class to use to report changes in weather we see in our area. Michael knows all those cloud formations....I don't remember any of them except that some high rising fluffy white cloud formations are indicative of approaching storms. That surprised me...I just thought they were really pretty white cloud clusters!!! Guess I need to take a refresher class ! Terry is talking about us taking Amtrack out that way to see the Rockies team play out there ( he loves seeing the different ballparks) and then taking the Amtrack tour of the Grand Canyon.
Michael says he wants to go see that Garden of the Gods when we get a chance to come to Denver. He is sure he could discover some ancient dinosaur bones there.
You both do a great job on your blogs. Looking forward to your next blog. I hope some big name hiking equipment company finds your blog and wants to advertise on it and makes it go viral and makes you both rich :)
