Jack didn't deserve that ending😭💔 and Mary's death wasn't his fault, it was hers because she didn't leave him alone when Jack asked her to and now my poor baby has to live with that guilt forever😭😭😭😭😭😭 I MISS YOU JACK COME BACK❤❤ my heart is still broken over this 💔
I agree that Mary's death wasn't his fault entirely, I think people forget that it happened because he lost control of his anger and stress, and I think people don't take into account that Mary knew how powerful he was and knew that getting this close to him would put her in danger. He was obviously losing control and she got up in his face in the middle of an attack. It's no surprise that she died. This may be an unpopular opinion here, but I bet that even if he'd still had his soul it still would have happened at some point. With all the shit he's been through of course he would have probably exploded from a regular panic attack, and with his power, it would be just as bad I assume, he could have accidentally killed anyone that got in his way, soulless or not.
Dylan Cole Jack didn’t mean to kill Mary. He just wanted his space and she kept getting in his way, and I blame Mary for that because she could’ve just left him alone but instead kept bothering him. So therefore it’s mostly her fault and she got herself killed because she wouldn’t leave Jack alone when he asked.

Makes a deal - dies - Sam feel guilty and lost a girlfriend because of her deal, she starts working with the British men of letters - someone dies - Sam and Dean feel gulty, she won't leave Jack alone for one second - he gets angry and kill her - Jack feels guilty... Did she ever done something right?? The whole time she was there, she was constantly doing something behind Sam and Deans back... I don't even know why she was brought back in the first place...

She's the most selfish character on the show, along with Chuck, both of whom are the worst parents ever! Let's not forget that Mary's stupid selfish arrogant actions directly lead to the apocalypse TWICE, only the second one is a MUCH bigger one that started MUCH faster. But I know why she was brought back, to help the boys finally deal with the anger stemming from her that they had buried their whole lives, and show the ugly reality of a toxic neglectful mother and how she can end up hurting her children more than anyone, cause contrary to popular belief, not all mothers are good and loving, some of them are the biggest villains, blood isn't everything. The writers wanted to show that and they did a great job since if you watch carefully, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing with her selfish cold behavior and neglectful patterns with Sam, Dean, and Jack throughout.

She didn't know their stories, and their past. Writers did an amazing job in showing how some things you can't change no matter how much you try to.. She was selfish when she made that deal, yes it was to save John but still, she was selfish when she was brought back, and that's it, there's nothing you can do to change that.. She needed time, and she went to work with the British men of letters. I have so many things to say about her that won't fit here... I just never liked her... "Family doesn't end with blood." is something that's really showing here, Sam and Dean had and still have better family that they never knew will always be there for them, such as Crowley, Rowena and in my opinion even Katch was better than Mary... That's true, except I think comparing this to Sams situation is a bit of a stretch. Jack actually killed Mary because he got too close to him during an outburst. Sam was too young to comprehend his situation and didn't kill his own mother, the demon did. But yes, Mary's first death was her fault and the demon blood was her fault as well. Jack has a right to feel guilty for Mary's death, because he actually did it, whether he knew what he was doing or not.

But my point is that Jack doesn't deserve the burden of this guilt as Mary is the one who caused his outburst in the first place, just like Sam didn't deserve the burden of his guilt as Mary is the one who invited Azazel into their house to let him poison Sam with his blood. The fact that she made that deal without knowing the terms to it was absolutely reckless, just like pounding on Jack constantly even when he told her to leave him alone because she was literally hurting him by not giving him space, was also absolutely reckless, especially since she didn't stop to think why Jack killed Nick in the first place and the consequences of leaving him alive just like she didn't stop to think of why Azazel offered her that deal in the first place or the consequences of making it. There is a clear parallel between Sam and Jack's situations despite being a little different and this parallel points to Mary's recklessness being a pattern since she's caused so much pain and death for so many others too.

If they follow their own script, they can't kill god because it will destroy everything he has built so the only option left is to trap him. And Jack with Death and the Void is the only strong enough to beat him.
