Thanks for checking out this video, this is something I’ve been wanting to do for a well over a year now. i feel the Ref’s have a unique perspective on airsoft that many in airsoft may not know about. Thank you to all of the owners, management and staff of airsoft parks that participated in the making of this video, Tac City, Code Red airsoft park, Hollywood Sports Park, and Wildlands airsoft park. Thank you!
I like how the milsim players say to watch out for people with dye masks and polar stars and then the ref with the dye mask says to watch out for milsim players lmao
i can understand MED, my field has 5 ft for aeg, gbb, etc and 100ft for snipers (Code Red) very fair and nobody every complains. inexperienced refs isn't something we can control to be honest
Oh, boy. Airsoft practically refs itself if the players aren't being asinine. How many teens play in the woods near their homes without a ref? What is a REAL problem is referees who play FAVORITES with the players, stacking teams unfairly or looking the other way when their friends do something wrong.
I remember watching a video where the refs at Hollywood Sports legit just told everybody to "Don't play aggressive, you're not here to be serious, you're here to have fun"
But isn't that kinda true tho? HSP is the place where guys just throw on a concert t-shirt and cargos and play until you get hungry. if I wanna be uber serious and aggressive about airsoft I'm going to those parks further away
Chris Perrette well some people are more experienced and they just play really well without really trying. The newbies would just get mad and complain. You have to remember that some find playing serious is fun. But Serious is not like yelling or getting mad that someone doesn’t call there hits, it’s more they put energy into completing the mission more than usual
@@douchbagat7671 O.K Now I understand your point better, yes then I 100% agree with you, thanks for clarifying your point it makes better sense to me now.
Maybe its because I started playing paintball first but I don't mind the aggressive style. Like when I started playing airsoft the bang bang room fucked with my head, like i'm used to someone just coming around a corner full sprint and shooting me a few times. Like I understand it hurts but it's what you expect if you get overshot you get overshot no one said it wasn't gonna hurt. idk but that's just me~
Lol, the amount of people that say that is crazy. but imo, its not the guns fault, its the operator behind it that's the problem. I have met so many people who use HPA that are hella respectful and honest. But there are those few that abuse Polarstar and HPA for the lolz, and give HPA a bad name. Its like real steel, if you treat the gun with respect, you will have fun. Once you become a jerk or get complacent, tho, that's when people get hurt.
im sure if someone did a video there there would be just as many problems just different ones than they face in the U.S. plus there are more airsoft fields just in the southern part of California alone than the U.K has in its entire country, the of course the bigger the airsoft scene the more problems you might have.
@@TacShooter they dont have better manners its just a much smaller scene played by much older people there. remember southern california has more airsoft parks than they have airsoft parks in the entire U.K. the bigger any sport gets the more growing pains it will have
@@TacShooter you can make a video look anyway you want, just edit out the stuff you don't want people to see and the stuff that doesn't fit your image, I've played next to Jet desert fox and he curses every 5 seconds, but you never see or hear that in his videos. thats why i respect this video its just straight opinions straight from the people that deal with players the most.
I personally have no problem with feathering. I’ve seen and played with people who feather and it’s fine, but I can see why people think it’s bad (I run a stock krytac mk2 crb btw, so it’s really hard to feather). It depends on the type of player, not the gun. You can have someone wreck with a Combat Machine and the other player has a polarstar who has a hair trigger and gets out in the first minute.
I never overshoot, I've only shot anyone once. If people complain about being shot 6 times, I tell them I thought the first 5 missed because they didn't say hit.
Great vid...anticipating the next one. I run a wolverine air setup, but play very fairly with it. The only time I feather is to cover a shooting lane for players on the move or just fire superiority. Mag dumping on a player I get though. Pretty cool to see things from a ref's perspective!
BRuh mag dumping and feathering are not bad things mag dumping is like its funny when you're doing it to other friends because it's funny. And feathering is a strategy and a tactic

There's a difference between feathering and a quick trigger, when they're talking feathering they mean feathering like a paintball gun (I.E. the gun shoots just from touching the side of the trigger and yes I have seen guns and help build a gun that could perform like that). If you're gun has a snappy trigger pull that allows for quick follow up shots they don't care about that. It's when you try to go 100% paintball feathering that it's an issue
TheJokerofSocal but that’s also not an issue yes overshooting can happen and that sucks but if you pay to have better equipment you should be better they do it in paintball no one complains and paintball hurts less so...
@@flokejm3904 in paintball the max ROF recorded is around 20 Balls per second and that's with a motorized Hopper. Now let's try a gun that can literally rip out a 120 mag in 2-3 seconds at 1.55 joules of energy (translates to about 410 feet per second, which btw is almost half the speed of a 22lr bullet (1070 fps, 40 grain). I have seen it happen where people are bleeding all over the field and from multiple places from guys who feather the shit out of their guns on someone. The no feathering rule is for safety, Snappy trigger response is fine but when u get to the point where u're firing the gun without moving the trigger and you're "Lightly shooting" someone is 8-12 bbs it becomes a safety hazard
Its not the game thats messed up, its the players that rocked dye's and pigs that made videos of themselves dumping on birthday groups and rental kids and posting videos of themselves getting into fights, and never calling their hits, and they thought it was entertaining to do so they celebrated ruining the sport, there were a lot of up and coming players that tried to be like those guys because they thought it was cool to look like and act like the bad guy, I'm sure it was hard to tell who was one of those mag dumping you tubers or who was a guy that just like to dress like one.

@@tannerburgers8528 at locations in the L.A. area (Tac City, HSP, etc) They've had alot of issues with multiple groups of players (All in the age range of 15-20) who will purposely go out of their way to dump on people with Polarstars set at 45+ RPS with the heaviest bbs they can buy just to make a video for the lot of them to laugh about.
