It's why once you get to know Twice, cute Twice is just natural and likable, not unbearable like when other groups try to do cute.

The concept for this MV was bang on perfect. Though.... I have questions for the director. Who in their right mind thought PULP FICTION and LEON / THE PROFESSIONAL count as "romance movies"?!! 😂😂 Also... methinks Thina is the first reactor I've seen who didn't reciprocally tilt her head at the part in the MV where the girls all tilt their heads in unison. Also, also.... I think this song was also the song that broke Twice's back on the cutesy concepts. While obviously played up as a joke for variety shows, their responses when asked to show their reactions when shown the song that JYP had written exclusively for them was nothing short of priceless. i think it's bc the concept is being curious about love, and the movie references tackles different concept of love like princess diary - self love love letter - highschool romance romeo and juliet - tragic romance pulp fiction - edgy romance leon - infatuation bc of lack of love from family. (matilda having daddy issues) so yeah that's my take, and also i believe they referenced these movies alomg with its aesthetics. bc the mv did really had a beautiful concept.

the circular formations of TWICE in their songs are really smart and helpful especially during live stages, concerts, and performance stages. They and the audience would have chances to see each other even when they're on the center stage and some could only see their backs during most of the songs. ☺️💕

'What is love' is what got me into Twice. They are such a wholesome bunch of young women. They aren't sexualised, dance as a group (as opposed to 9 individuals dancing the same thing) and are just a joy to watch them grow up together both physically (some members were literally adolescents when they started) and professionally. They seem to have a genuine love for each other. Not the kind just for the camera and then are absolute horrors to each other behind. They respect each other, like not lip syncing the missing member's parts and leaving gaps for them in their performances. Ya. I am a once.

with this song and MV they show how since none of them have ever actually been in love, each one has a different perspective and perception of what love is which is shown through the movie each of them chooses, and you can even see how while one of them is interested or curious about a movie other is bored or even annoyed because to them love is something completely different
WIL has landed 😅. Personally, WIL is my favorite MV concept from them because it's so smart and fun at the same time. It just makes you want to dance or sing along. Loved how you explained going back through their concepts makes you want to appreciate how they have grown with their music. More power, good health, much love, and stay OG.

What Is Love made me a ONCE, i love how even if im so proud of their growth as artists right now and the new genees theyre exploring and pulling off yet i can also look back and still be as proud as i am now with their bubblegum pop hits. Also, also.... I think this song was also the song that broke Twice's back on the cutesy concepts. While obviously played up as a joke for variety shows, their responses when asked to show their reactions when shown the song that JYP had written exclusively for them was nothing short of priceless. You could almost hear the "REALLY, Jin-young?!" in their "not amused" faces. 😂😂
i think it's bc the concept is being curious about love, and the movie references tackles different concept of love like princess diary - self love
love letter - highschool romance
romeo and juliet - tragic romance
pulp fiction - edgy romance
leon - infatuation bc of lack of love from family. (matilda having daddy issues)
so yeah that's my take, and also i believe they referenced these movies alomg with its aesthetics. bc the mv did really had a beautiful concept.

the circular formations of TWICE in their songs are really smart and helpful especially during live stages, concerts, and performance stages. They and the audience would have chances to see each other even when they're on the center stage and some could only see their backs during most of the songs. ☺️💕

'What is love' is what got me into Twice. They are such a wholesome bunch of young women. They aren't sexualised, dance as a group (as opposed to 9 individuals dancing the same thing) and are just a joy to watch them grow up together both physically (some members were literally adolescents when they started) and professionally. They seem to have a genuine love for each other. Not the kind just for the camera and then are absolute horrors to each other behind. They respect each other, like not lip syncing the missing member's parts and leaving gaps for them in their performances. Ya. I am a once.
