that song is pretty intense dynamically, its way too much on my system, which i assume at this point is very dynamic. in a large rom JBL S4700 would help out and make a good match.

Hi Gavyn, they provide a very different presentation and they work well with different amps. The JBLs work very well with some tube amps, and specially with EL34 tubes. The Dyns need more power and I prefer them with transistors. The JBLs have bigger voices and tight bass response. The Dyns have deeper bass and softer highs with a more relaxed sound. Cheers, Diego
The amp has more than enough power due to the high efficiency of these speakers (about 99db ). This means that even a 10 watt amp should be sufficient.

Yes, the JBLs work great in large rooms, even larger that this one. And they sound better with tubes, specially with EL34.
