Great Explanation sir but sir if we stand just below the actual position of the star....... i.e paralell to the normal.. the star should appear just at its actual place...... bcause sir when a ray of light paralell to the normal comes from rarer to denser medium , no refraction takes place... pls answer sir
The atmospheric refraction still takes place and as the layers of atmosphere are changing every second, and so quickly that even if at one point, we were standing in a place where the star Ray coming from the star is literally like normal to us, it would change in a second because of the atmospheric refraction and the layers of atmosphere changing constantly
