    Yiff is the best of all the magicians so far I've seen. I just started watching all his vids 2 nights ago. It's very entertaining and emotional unlike other ME TOO magicians. I do love his presentation.

      couldn't agree more. He's facisnating and leaves me in awww like when I first saw my first magic trick when I was a little boy. I've never had that feeling again until I came across his art.

    Contrary to most of the comments, I found your magic trick at the beginning of this video to be outstanding. Making the viewer think the trick has gone wrong then revealing the magic eventually. Thumbs UP!

    It’s the Happy camp’s 20th anniversary and Yif was trying to integrate the memories of the show to his storyline. If u understand the show better, you’ll know that it’s a really touching story.

  • @LuvTaoZi
    @LuvTaoZi 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    And if you look at his shows in depth, he’s trying to customize the storyline of his performance to align with the life experiences of his audience. He’s not also performing magic to impress, he’s also trying to touch peoples hearts.

  • @tongshuwen4199

    Na they invited him for their 20 years anniversary of a tv show. That's why he's performing his trick like this, Chinese people love saying things like. So he's applying his trick to the real world, it's understandable that you'll think this is not a style you prefer. Btw I watch that show since I was like 6 years old, it's one of the best tv shows in China 😚

    @Mister6 7 ปีที่แล้ว +18

    Your intro trick didn't make a lot of sense. You revealed the actual card as the first "clue" and the second "clue" indicated it was a face card. Was that deliberate? If so, that trick doesn't do it for me, too inconsistent.

    • @EduardTodor
      @EduardTodor  7 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      I think it would make more sense live, the idea is the audience members think you screwed up. And then it's more magical because you still get it right.

    • @Mister6
      @Mister6 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Fair enough. Maybe because you are doing it solo, it loses its flow

    • @leumasarc4180
      @leumasarc4180 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In the original trick, it's much more "flowy", it's just they pick a card, it's lost, you then say that you found three cards that are going to tell you everything about the spectator's card and you tell them to keep a poker face throughout the whole thing. You flip over the first card, which is their card, but you act as if you screwed it up and say "this card tells me your card's red", you then place that card on the table, then the next card tells you something else, and the last card, let's say it's a six, you spell six and you end on one card. You ask the spectator "what's your card, they tell it to you with the smile that says "Dude, you screwed up hard", and BOOM, that's their card. And that's it. No weird reveal at the end with the other sevens.

  • @ginsan8198
    @ginsan8198 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Eduard. I love your tricks. I'm wondering actually, if you could somehow mix the card routines with something else. I mean, you can still be card-trick guy, but you present using various different styles of presentation. It may involve not only card. It may be of a larger scale. That way, you have more possibilities of creativity. For example, you could predict a card using the number of petals in a flower shop. Or, you could make a card switch place under two cups or something. You could make a card appear on top of the deck based on the nominal of a coin that an audience picks. There are a lot of different possibilities with card magic using everything that is surrounding you. I think you have talent to pull them off.

    Where did you learn your pass? i got the brick pass but its not that good i think pls tell

    • @TaranHarveyChadwick
      @TaranHarveyChadwick 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Eternal ZX don't expect to learn the pass over night. Taken me over 5 years to get to be point I'm even slightly satisfied with it and I'm sure Eduard has been doing it for years too. The brick pass is a phenomenal handling on the move. It takes it to another level. From what you have said there I have a feeling that you may be rushing into it. Get the bare bones of the move down first. Spend a year just doing the move, practicing it with no covers. Once you got a smooth (smooth doesn't mean fast btw...) execution down, then start looking into covers. You will find the brick pass extremely beneficial once you're ready for it.

    • @EduardTodor
      @EduardTodor  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Taran is right, I can't remember where I initially learnt the classic pass but I really got a breakthrough after I got Jason England's download on the pass. I haven't actually got the brick pass. But yes I've been doing it for about 6 years. It took me a loong time before I was able to do it face up with no misdirection

    hmmm... so I just recently found your channel. and the first video I saw of yours was your first reaction video to yif. but I didn't like the way you gave dirty looks about his whole performance lol because I like him and think what he does is pretty brilliant like to be honest I don't really care if you use cgi/camera edits for tv magic because everything on tv is like that and that's just the way it is. so yea I didn't like how you were too critical/kinda harsh of him before and so I was hesitant to check out your other videos but I was just like whatever and checked out a few others because I like how you actually "react" for reaction videos unlike most people on here haha. anyways, I liked this video and love the trick you did for the intro and so I subscribed and i'll check out some more of your videos because they're actually good stuff lol!

    • @frequencydecline5250
      @frequencydecline5250 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      CGI and camera edits though aren't "magic." Might as well just say, "I like cgi stuff." If we are just going to say cgi is part of the magic art form and discipline then we might as well declare a landscape in a star wars movie to be the best magic act. OMG Look a whole city just appeared on the screen! "Because everything...just the way it is" isn't an excuse either. Thats like saying, I don't mind eating shit because other people eat shit too and thats just what there is to eat. And if we are including youtube and all possible tv and streaming services, thats not just the way it is. There is a lot of legit content. Such as Eduard here...which weirdly you have liked better had he put a CGI smile on his face while watching your favorite cgi act.

    • @EliteONEx1
      @EliteONEx1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      eh i'm just saying basically tbh I've only been to like 2 magic shows which 1 was a mentalist show and the other a hypnosis show and so atm I kinda prefer to see magic on tv because I feel like it's just a overall more well-rounded show/performance and i'm saying I mean like everything on tv has edits/cgi so what do you expect it's still cool to me just saying...!

      @steviejoe7918 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tibi Tiberiu I can't tell you. But, it is a lot more simple than you think. And honestly, you can just look it up lol. His act was way too gimmicky for me. Although he does have good sleight of hand. Anyone can do gimmicks with practice, anyone can do self working card tricks, anyone can do escapism with practice, but not everyone can do master level card tricks, master level sleight. I prefer acts that are not gimmicks or illusions, but that require raw skill. He has skill, but he is mostly using gimmicks to wow the crowd when you can wow the crowd just by doing a good card trick... I don't know call me old school. But, I have seen this shit all before and it is getting old. I still am more impressed by good card tricks.

    • @tibitiberiu4380
      @tibitiberiu4380 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is true. The best card tricks are those that involve sleight of hand. That's why I do only sleight of hands, and I don't know too much about gimmicks.

      Spec picks 7H, you show 7H and tell them that their card is a red card, you then show JH saying you KNOW FOR A FACT their card is a RED FACE CARD, then reveal a 7H as the spec's card.
      1. Why would you show the 7H to determine the color if that's what the spec chose as their card? It ruins the reveal. 2. Why would you show the JH and say their card is a face card when 7H is clearly not a face card.
      Maybe I am missing something. Nothing but love bud.

    • @EduardTodor
      @EduardTodor  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the spectator thinks you screwed up. They think that their card is in the discarded pile so there's no way you can now find their card. That was the premise at least, maybe I didn't make that clear or it doesn't show well on camera idk

      @EduardTodor  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm.. I still feel this would work live. Maybe I need to change up the patter.

    • @trueskyte
      @trueskyte 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh and now you're getting comments about the Jack as well xD. I completely forgot that during the trick you said it would be a face card, because I was so hung up on the 7 of hearts.
      Maybe it is confusing that the first two clues are "screwed up" but the last one is correct. Also I didn't feel any acknowledgement of the mistakes, even at the end I guess it's not completely obvious that the mistakes were on purpose.
      But yeah, I guess it can be made clearer with different patter.

    Good reaction to this vid,id like to ad tho there was many edits done for his performance witch leaves me to believe the people around him are in on it,sadly all acts hes done on these shows are done VIA satellite and give the illusion that its live,that being said he is a great magician

    We don’t really need toi to tell us if it’s good or not because it’s quite obvious, and a great magic can’t be all just about the skills but it should also have a deeper meaning or a link to a certain circumstance, how coherent the perfect skills match to this meaning is what really matters. Si tu only care about the skills perhaps it means that tu es un débutant en magie. I guess u have absolutely no idea what it means to the happy family because perhaps you don’t understand the dedication these 5 members devoted to this show, they have insisted for the last 20 years or maybe longer. To me the skills only stand for 60% maximum in a magic show.

    Great video, and I liked the magic you did, but I just feel like he should work on transitions, to me they felt very forced and weren't very flowy.
    Other then that I thought it was great.

    My mon had her college degree before she learned that 'wash' doesn't have an R. I think John Kerry (democrat nominee for US president in 2004) lost the election because he didn't know there's no r in idea. What do you call a deer that was shot in the face and being blinded. 'No idear'. Love you Eduard, but there's no r in idea. Go ahead with that accent, but I've shown you it's unpopular.
