I had the honor ot teacing Peter during at least one of his high school--Evanston (IL) Township High School) years. Unfortunately, I didn't really get to know Peter very well as that was my only contact with him--band rehearsals and performances. However, I was always absolutely astonished at his musicianship and commitment to his instrument. Somehow, somehow I just knew the oboe was his true calling and I'm so very proud to have been just a very little bit of his growth and success.. I certainly wish him continued success and all the very best the world has to offer....both musically and in general. Thank you for a nothing short of beautiful interview and please accept my very best for you and your family always. P.. S. Please don't be "weirded out" by my "name" on TH-cam, although it's not likely you'll remember me because we had such a short time together; but, my name is Joseph H. Ferraro--Bill Idle's short-time colleague.
Attended a fabulous master class of his at RDG Woodwinds in Los Angeles, thank you for this!
