Most of us buy fish at the grocery store but you float through a magical liquid jungle oasis and pluck your food like delicious moving fruit and they're as fresh as it gets. What a life brother. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with the rest of us. Cheers!
From a man of 78 yo, you 2 are feeding off each other in such a positive manner, Aaron its time to tie the knot and give each other a future. She is a sweetheart.
I will watch any videos you do of the underwater world that you have access to. I don't really care if you shoot anything, it's so relaxing to be right there with you. I also think that your channel is one of the best ones on You Tube. Thanks for all you do and I patiently waiting for your next video. Stay safe
Sir, I’m in a very dark and bad place right. However, when your vid popped up, I literally had to pull over to the next rest stop (because I’m taking a road trip to clear my thoughts) and watch you vids to cheer me up. Thank you very much!!! I always love the fact that your vid is a representation of what you do day in and day out. I think that’s why we all love it because you’re living in a paradise for us without that “extra fluff” hence why we don’t need to see the extra ‘wow’ factor.
I’m also in a dark place and bad place ( due to cancer problem & chemotherapy) Just by watching this vlog ,I actually feel happier & somehow free from any problems. Hoping the best for you…Take care..
I love your cool, calm and humble narration. It is honestly some form of ASMR to me, and very respectable. Also, as always, very educational. Appreciate you, my man! ❤
Enjoyed the video Aaron. Mullet take sand in their mouth and eat the algae and expel the sand making the water cloudy. Mullet are the only fish that have a gizzard. Similar to a chicken gizzard. The organ grinds the sand to fine particles and extracts the vegetable matter. Mullet are special!! ;)
hey, I'm (k)new here. Ex owner -op trucker, retired. Got certified in Islamorada like 25 yrs. ago. Would run loads down to "the bottom'" as we called Miami,...had a bud in W. Palm with a boat, and we had peeps down in the Keys,.and i hated snorkeling, as i was was the most buoyant doofuss in the world. The balance of a weight belt w/tanks...is one of the most amazing things in the world,... that nobody ever talks about. It's like being in outer space, only wetter. I actually tied a big rock to my self once,in my early snorkel days, just to not feel like a bobber. That was dumb. Now I see you guys diving free with a weight belt. Aaaaargh. Why didn't i think of that. I'm now land locked in the foothills of Colorado. But me and some buds go up to the mountain streams....and I go diving (it's great just to get my head under water)...there's no critters in that water; but if I can just run across a nugget...it'll pay for my lobster. I miss Fla. lobster,.. i miss the Keys. PS...we used to dive the canals, once inna while where we stayed...boats zinging by 30 ft. over head, in the murk...god i hated that....you didn't know where you were....I hate the murk
Sitting here watching a Key West Waterman video eating smoked fish dip that I made because I started keeping fish carcasses and heads because of a Key West Waterman video. Oddly satisfying....
Been showing your videos to All my family right now . Because we are in key West right now on vacation. Actually we saw you go by a few days ago. But we would never bother you . I ate my first mango snapper today . It was very very good thank you.. you and your girlfriend Rock dude . I've been watching your videos since you had less than fifty people on your channel . And me and my family appreciate you. . Best wishes Always from Tampa Florida .
The bait is North in the summer. I live in Jupiter, FL and during the summer months the pilchards, sandy key, threadfins and the sardines stack up inshore and around shallow reefs offsore.
Man. I spearfish in the shallows a ton, and most people probably have no appreciation for how good a shot this guy is. Mangrove snapper will jerk and weave all over the place. I count myself lucky to hit them in these kinds of situations on 25-30% of my shots. This is like watching an NBA player take three pointers after you get excited because you went 3 for 10.
my favorite type shows too- thanks so much. I’ve been seeing crocs in the creeks Florida Bay behind Key Largo. Phenomenal schools of baitfish. Those rocks always holding lobsters. Really nice show, thanks!
great video as always. please keep this style. this is the best, you are living the life that most of us are unable to live. and we d like to see that instead of exaggerating just for the video's sake. amazing as always.
You answered every single one of my questions in the video, lol. The reason for only one tension line, do you find old bottles, and do you eat the head of the lobsters. Yup, I'm with Tipsy, lol...that looked delicious! Madeleine you look perfect! Thank you again for another video where we just get to chill with you. Have a lovely week you two!
Hey Aaron, skip the wire brush on the grill and use a wood plank to clean your grates. The wires can break off and cause esophageal, stomach, and bowel perforations. As they say, safety first.
Ran across your videos a couple of days ago. Absolutely love them. No fluff or exaggerated enthusiasm. Just straight up commentary. Needless to say I am hooked. Or should I say speared. Lol please keep the videos coming.
Looked like a really nice day on the water! Remarkable the amount of life in the mangroves in less than 10 feet of water. No reason to take the big CC out when a smaller nimble boat does the trick. A great VID once again. Thanks Aaron.
Another great video, Thanks for sharing. ...and then you mentioned Dairy Queen on United. Old time memories from the 70's-80's. Thank you, thank you both.
As we headed out of Rockland Channel at noon on the 3rd the water was very clear from the recently passed hurricane. I took notice. On the way in from Snipes around 4:00 a huge area of water in near the Quarry Condos was pure white. Mullet and pilchards jumping in every direction. I’ve lived here almost 20 years. Never seen so much bait before. Very positive sign for the winter season.
Absolutely love it when you go snooping around! It makes us excited also! It’s been probably 55 years since I’ve seen mullet like that here in Pensacola. That’s cool! Great job man!!
I've watched about 50-60 of your vids the last 6 weeks. I grew up in Miami back in the 70's. You have educated me on sharks. I don't have the same fear I used to have. I really want to try spear fishing. Thanks!
Mullet run baby! They are reaching my area now, birds diving all day just 100 yards offshore. Just waiting on our hurricane swell to leave so I can beach launch and get after it. I see tarpon, snook, jack crevalle, and kingfish in my future hehe
@@KeyWestWaterman me too! But what are you doing responding man!?! You said you were stopping for you own mental health! Get out of here! LOL! I’m always liking and commenting to help the algorithm, not to get a personal response from you aaron.
Hey Aaron, not sure if you dropped something or it was already there (26:16) there is a shackle or something in the sand. Almost Center screen, to the left of the Gun. Just noticed it Thanks again for the videos brotha
Thats what I love about your channel, very matter of fact, no bs phony setup, seems very reasonable exploring and harvesting as you find them. And your cleaning and cooking. I always learn a thing or two. Wether I ever get out to do them or not. The more you know The better. Your Videos are always Interesting. Thanks.🎷 U get a PO Box for snails?
That footage looking up through the school of bait fish was super cool! The trips you take us on through the mangroves are some of my favorites, never get old. Thank you for explaining the Nurse sharks, I wouldn't have known they're not super aggressive. You always swim past them and I'm think "oh sh*t, there's a shark". Requests....what? People are insane. Keep doing what you're doing, what you want to do and we'll watch and enjoy. Great video, thanks Dibbs!
I live in cudjoe key. And own a local business down here in ramrod key Love watching your videos!!! And it's nice to see someone around our age on here. Keep doing your thing

The life I enjoy maybe once each five ears on holidays, this lovely couple enjoys every day. They are God blessed.
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the efforts you put in to making these great videos. Thank you
Big smoked mullet catch and cook..
Seriously though. All of these were tiny. More like finger mullet, instead of the big ones we see normally.
20:14 Wow! How amazing! What a life you live, Aaron good for you!
Not the pupper being sad lol I appreciate you brother

I’ve wondered about that. Thanks for the tip.

It’s so refreshing to watch your channel, thanks man
Mr. Young:
Excellent content. Exploring new spots :) Enjoy your beautiful reality :)
Great video. Part of your video showed a shot where it looked like you were walking in a forest on a foggy morning. Very cool.
As we headed out of Rockland Channel at noon on the 3rd the water was very clear from the recently passed hurricane. I took notice.
