no its the reverse.. distopalatal is larger than the distobuccal cusp..

Just from the buccal aspect, the crown morphology is similar in both molars. The differences are in the root and in their dimensions.

transverse groove is not always present in 1st molars.. moreover it can also be present in 2nd molars...
