after searching and searching write ups and videos I found this and chose it to be my guide for removal, I found it to be the most useful there is nothing that wasn't covered. finally pulled my motor exactly like this with no issues, thank you! **I did not have A/C so I can't speak for that part but the only part I struggled with was the bottom motor mount nuts, I found that a swivel extension wouldn't do it for me, I backed out the bolt that was in the way for a straight shot but left it in enough for me to access the bolt and to not have it fall, I also shocked the threads (tapped with screwdriver) and it came out smooth after that. for chain hook up, grade 8 bolts are only standard sizes so the threads are not the same for the head as the metric. according to google the equivalent of grade 8 bolts for standard would be 10.9 or 12.9 metric, the thread pitch you are looking for is correct in the video as well as just about everything.
Hey great video and info!! Do you have a video of you installing it back in the car with taken all the emissions bs off of it? If not what can i take off as far as emissions go? You seem very knowledgeable about these cars? I'm in Charlotte NC are you near by? I'm restoring one is why i ask.. Thanks

I honestly can’t answer that question sorry.
much respect!
Thank you
this is pretty much the same on a s14 huh?
Not exactly but with a wiring diagram you should be able to figure it out pretty easily 👍🏻
