Grading is so daamn i like it
Это любовь с первого кадра! Спасибо! Очень красиво. Взгляд, цвет, рассказ… всё как должно быть. Браво!
wow. this is beyond this camera capabilities I'd think
gotta be an amazing editing software! specially in lowlight! amazing work this guy person did!
The color rendition of the camera is good to begin with
color grading looks so pleasant to look at!
wow! are you planning to do a tutorial on color grading? I like it so much
amazing stuff !!
Looks good! Reminds me of Luis Dumont’s stuff
Lovely
Superb!
Nice!
How are you color grading this? I also have a GX80 but I'm not even close to getting near this gorgeous look!
This is a very cool video! I loved the shot from the bike, how did you mount the camera on there?
Thank you. Thats one of my favourite shots. It actually wasn't mounted, all of its completely handheld.
@@LewisDebenham Wow, that is cool. You have a great eye for beautiful angles!
awesome color grading
there is banding at the end of the night footage..!
Amazing video.
I think your settings are (on CinelikeD) H/S: -5/+5 and contrast -5 too. Am i correct?.
What Nd filter did you used?.
Thanks a lot :)
Thank you. It's Cinelike D with -5 for all of them. I used a variable 1-8.65 stop ND from Urth
Please think about changing your picture, it gave me several nightmares. That and it's also creepy as fuck dud
This really highlights how much better Davinci is than Premiere for color grading... And I only use Premiere.
Agreed. The fact that free software like Davinci is even being compared to paid offerings from Adobe proves how capable it is. I think it just needs to be a bit easier for beginners to get into
I own this camera. It has only one problem for me. The AFC works well in video but only in 1080 but it’s very low bitrate. 4K has good bitrate but AFC in 4K is unusable.
I saw people crack the code and upload higher bitrate modes to GX9. The files can’t playback in camera though.
The lens I used in all of these shots doesn't have autofocus so I guess I avoided these problems
@@LewisDebenham I have two manual vintage lenses Jupiter and Helios. I use them often. But for my approach I still have to sacrifice and mostly use 12-35 that has autofocus and IS.
What settings was this shot in? What software did you use for post? Can you tell us the grading/settings used in post?
Hi Mike. Here's a breakdown of the setup and settings I used…
Lens: Meike Meike 25mm f1.8 w/ Variable ND filter
Shutter speed: 1/50
Frame rate: 24 FPS
Camera profile: Cinelike D (lookup 'GX85 cinelike hack' for tutorials on how to install)
Editing software: DaVinci Resolve
I'm not really sure how to give the exact settings for my grading as I really just play around with it until it's how I like it. Only tips I can give is that I tend to adjust the blue highlights to more of a teal colour (just a personal preference) and add some warmth to the other colours. Then I raise the shadows a little and drop the highlights way down to give it more of a natural/flat tone. I also add some halation effect to the highlights to give it more of a film look, you see it most in the final night shots with the subtle red glow around the lights on the buildings.
Sorry I can't help any more than that, but if you have any more questions I'd be happy to answer. 👍
Were all the clips handheld just camera IBIS?
Yep, not even a stabilised lens
skibidy toilet rizz
What are your settings? Did you add cinelike profile?
Yes, this was shot with the cinelike D profile
did you use any ND filters when filming?
Used a single 1-8 stop variable ND filter
🤌🏻👍🏻
