So different .. yet not bad . But i still like the old BFMV, the scream , solos , heavy guitar sound and the meaningful lyrics yet i think they are experimenting things and trying to evolve and learn more . I just hope that the next album will be the same as the first ones ..

I would argue that the lyrics on Gravity are Bullet's most meaningful to date.
That's not "OLD" bullet, look at Venom. I loved venom, i like the newest album less tho

Everything they do is awesome, but no two albums sound the same, and nor should they. Yeah they played the same songs at the show in kansas city. that was also their first show of their tour. it sucks that We came as Romans weren't at that show that night but I did get a picture and autograph with Bad Omens. That was pretty cool

Now about "Gravity", I'd say it is not as great as the old Albums, but still we should all appreciate that this great band is still making music for us fans.
And that's just my opinion btw.
I hear Bullet since I was 11, and as the time is passing, my kind of music changed too.. I still love the old songs, but this kind of music have an energy that says "I'm alive", very different from another songs.

BFMV was my favourite band when I was a teenager and over the years, I kinda drifted away from them. And honestly? After years of not listening to them (and still loving their old stuff) I'm glad to see they're still doing well and that they enjoy the music they make. I remember reading an interview where Matt was like "we used to care and just do what our fans want but now we're doing what we love" and I'm happy that they do that. Their music grows up just like we all do and that's fine. And I really enjoy the new stuff, I found. I hope they continue to do what they love and I'll definitely start listening a lot more to them again
I feel bad for the bands that would like to make something new cuz their fans just say bad things. Let the experience. One small message can lead to something really good or really bad in any way

I don't understand these self-claimed fans! every band, at one point of their career, do experiment with the sound as they always strive for the sound they want to play. Accept the fact, spread it, listen to it. @phantomsvideos Sometimes it can be hard for anyone to understand certain lyrics in certain songs, whether they are completely clean or if they consist of screaming. That's why I always check the comments, description of videos, or just look up some lyric videos on YT just to be sure if I didn't miss anything.

This song is amazing. I've been fan from The Poison days and actually love this new stuff. Took some time to grow on me though. We can always argue about taste but it doesn't change anything. Can't wait for the next album.

A lot of people gave bullet hate for changing from Album to album. Some bands do make a bad move doing that, but this is one of the few I think did it smart and actually have always made good music regardless. Me, I'm 21, and I've loved there music since I heard waking the demon when I was 8 years old. I'm a fan of a lot of styles of music(except country but don't knock anyone who likes it). Plus there music has helped through hard times and still helps me get through whatever day I'm having.
It seems like a good few bands have, a7x’s been doing it and look at their newest album, same for slipknot, bfmv too. It’s okay for bands to do something different, I get the hate but I love all the changes. It shows they’re not afraid to do what they wanna do as they’ve always have been doing. In other words they’ve never really changed. I personally love the album.

I think that they did amazing! Yeah it may be different from what they’ve done in the past but i think this is a good different. Esse é o pior álbum da banda para mim, o álbum de 2015 é ótimo mas depois disso os caras regrediram demais tentando imitar essas novas bandas metalcore.

personally enjoyed the entire album. it has it's own charm. it just hits different from other stuff they were making b4. I do understand why about 25-30% of BFMV were upset and I understand that, but they just couldn't accept such changes that quick. and it's just either you enjoy it or throw in a bin. but knowing Matt, he'll never make the actual bad album 🖤

I genuinely love this song. I'm also a huge fan of The Poison and Scream Aim Fire (and everything since), but I find their newest album to be... Refreshing. It's really not as pop-rock as everyone is claiming it to be. It's not even fair to compare them to a lot of the sell-out rock/metal bands today. They still have some solid, metal bangers on Gravity as well.

You should try listening to ice nine kills they had just released a new album and they are so much better compared to their first album and in a good way they seem to get heavier by each album and expand the genre in each album they make in a way they are their own music genre and not very many bands have been able to do what they've done in the genre

There is not only one true "metal". Metal has changed throughout the years, I think this is just a slow modern metal song. So many other rock and metal bands use electronic sounds in their songs nowadays. I totally agree tho, I want fast and heavy Bullet, but you need to understand what Matt went through when making this album. I don't think you feel like writing fast and heavy songs when you are heartbroken. This album was great imo, but I sure hope we get something more headbanging next time.
Almost my thoughts. I dont really like the album because the song structure is almost the same in every song and we dont have any guitar solos (sadly). But yeah, we have to accept that this album is different and youre right by saying that Matt went through a hard time. I am actually pretty sure that the next album will be heavier. Lets just wait and see how it goes and lets hope Matt feels better now to write more heavier stuff :D
Its more of a subgenre like metalcore. That seems to be the norm these days for new bands. All of these new genres are getting confusing
@@tobiaslandmann54 Yeah I hate the fact that there are no solos. But they said in an interview that this album was not supposed to be one where they individually show off their skills by soloing. Fingers crossed for the next album!

Somebody here with me, who still love BFMV even they have changed a bit
i have a wide taste of music so I like this as well as their old stuff
So long as the band still enjoy making the music and it's to my taste I'll be here, then again if its not to my taste I probably won't stop supporting them

Actually a pretty decent song. Sure it sounds different and I am not a big fan of the new album but this song stands out lyrically from the other songs which makes this song a bit unique on the album. I still hope that Bullet for my Valentine will go a bit back to their older sound because Venom was a blast with the solos, the agressive screaming parts and the melodic riffs.
Not hating on that album, just hoping they dont stay with that sound. Still my favorite band!

The Poison... That was one of the best albuns that I ever heard... I hear it from time to time and not more because I never want to become tired of it.
This is just a sad way to try to connect with the kids.
This might the first album I'll buy since The Poison.
