Drive From Polambato Bogo City To Gun-ob Lapu-lapu City In Under 3 Hours!
POLAMBATO is the name of one of the barangays of Bogo, Cebu with a population of a little over 2,000 scattered on an area of about 423 hectares of mostly arable land. How this Barangay got its name is not supportedly by historical records but according to stories handed down from generation to generation, it was told that even before the construction of the Polambato Wharf, the shorelines, in the area became famous for the abundance of red stones lying loose along its whole length. The red color of the stones is more pronounced during early sunrise and can even be observed from the opposite shorelined of Bogo town proper.
Gun‑ob is a barangay in the city of Lapu-Lapu. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 37,989. This represented 7.63% of the total population of Lapu-Lapu.
