  • Here's an Oliver 1900 tractor with a GM Detroit Diesel 4-53 engine pulling the sled at the Florida Flywheelers Antique Engine and Tractor Show. Listen to that Detroit roar!! Amazing two-stroke sound!!
Filmed in Flywheelers Park in Avon Park, Florida, on February 25th, 2012.

Now I know what my Son says all the time. "Like a Boss",comes to mind. That's exactly what this tractor drive did, "Like a Boss". Excellent video as always great sound too. 5 thumbs up !!!

I think the Detroit diesel engine had the most adjustable power unit ever built. Change the injectors and add a turbo and the sky's the limit. The one in this Oliver runs pretty dang good.

Indeed, and also extremely versatile engines. Could be found in everything from school buses to submarines!

@@randymagnum143. I think that He’s referring to a 7040 or 7045 which came out in the early to mid 70’s. Hence the tractors starting with no. 70. The biggest which was a 7080.
