The Toyota Tarago van is sometimes owned by large Samoan, Tongan & Māori families for the extra seating. The ukulele seems to be a fave instrument for them, they’re pretty good at it & singing too tbh 😂

I don't know what the quality is in America, but KFC in Australia is pretty decent. I've never had anything close to raw chicken... the chicken breast in the burgers is pretty decent and usually much better than Maccas.

In Australia, the quality of KFC does vary from store to store.
      The level of greasiness
If the chips are cooked properly
But more importantly is the time you go and order.. go in when they're busy or just after the meal rush - all the chicken is fresh, crispy stuff is crispy as opposed to rubbery, and the chips are hot enough to burn your fingers.

My American ex-wife, while in Australia during a failed attempt at living there full-time (long story) was particularly rude to a KFC employee. In the US chicken meat is described as either white meat (breast/wing) or dark meat (leg/thigh). That’s not a thing in Australia. She could not fathom this, and went ballistic. One of many times I was overtly embarrassed, and sorry for the victim. I cured that when I brought her back to the US and dumped her. It was only a test marriage. I found a winner shortly thereafter.

Postmix refers to the system in which a flavored syrup (concentrate) of the soft drink is shipped to the retailer, usually in a returnable tank or a disposable bag-in-box container. So the Zinger Burger is basically a hot & spicy chicken sandwich. Basically a hot and spicy chicken fillet with lettuce and mayo.
I say its a sandwich because I know (at least some) Americans get very particular about defining what a burger is. Many of you guys insist that burgers are strictly beef patties between burger buns, that if it's chicken it can't be a burger, it is a sandwich. Here in Aus, if its something between a burger bun, we'll call it a burger.
Also, KFC is pretty good when you have that specific craving for it, just be ready for the hot'n spicy KFC regret that comes after, its a trip but sometimes worth it.

Original recipe all the way. I used to always get a zinger burger combo but 10 or 12 years ago I did a switch and been loving the original recipe ever since. My local KFC is pretty good.

Another Aussie female here, I never eat at KFC, I personally think it is disgusting. The crumbed, country style chicken pieces from ALDI are much nicer and healthier to eat.

The ALDI Buffalo chicken tenders are sublime. I can eat a whole package of them in one hit.

A Tarago will be a big Samoan family. They can eat. Once in some hick town in rural America we rocked up to KFC start asking for our order. The girl couldn’t understand our accent. She’s going thru all the options. We were like what? She repeats it we’re cracking up laughing she’s getting mad it was like a 3 ring circus. In the end she said are you mocking me? We laughing saying no and sorry. She told us to take a hike. Not getting any KFC. Haha

I've been to an American KFC. Imagine driving down the road "ON THE WRONG SIDE" all confusion occurs so you accidently take a turnoff that you didn't want. Yep we ended up in a small country town not knowing what the hell was going on or how we got there.
    P. S. We finally got to our destination.

    I. Used to take my autistic grandson to therapy - a 30 minute drive both ways. The only way we could get him to go was to get him KFC on the way home. I was told by an American friend living here that it was far better quality than he could get in American KFC. Personally I prefer Red Rooster.

I don’t know if it’s correct, but the thing about the bunch of people in the one vehicle and the banjo makes me think of the movie Deliverance. Or perhaps a dig at Tasmanians?

I noticed you have reacted to a bunch of songs, I didn't see a video for a song you should hear.
"And the band played waltzing matilda." (Not to be confused with the other song, Waltzing Matilda.)
It's about the events of Gallipoli in WWI.

How do you get your drinks from KFC? I love that they sell cans and bottles. Then I don’t have to drink the drink straight away if I’m not thirsty. Unlike Maccas drinks that go flat.

KFC here does hot and spicy deep fried chicken, far better than the regular! In a burger it is called a zinger burger. And the workers are young and courteous.

We booked the midnight Qantas flight out of Los Angles and decided to have KFC at LA airport before leaving to return to Brisbane. We waited in line, waited some more, watched to two girls serving have an argument, people left the line in fear of missing their flight then bingo, we received our order and sat down to the biggest shite meal ever.......
KFC here is getting smaller and smaller.....Basically you are now eating the batter of 11 herbs and spices with a little bit of chicken.

We love kfc because there not an over saturated market of fast food in Aus ESPECIALLY chicken shops you have KFC or red rooster/other rotisserie chicken style shops. Yes you get a can for the regular size and a 750ml for large. That’s your only sizes. The reference you didn’t get was him just saying that’s why he likes the job or something like that. Krushers are like crushed cookie choc chip thick shakes, you had boba sized straws or you couldn’t eat/drink it.
