Coco Key to re-open after health code violations

The Coco Key water resort has been closed for 14 weeks, after the county health department shut it down. It forced them to make over $50,000 worth of repairs, and on top of all of that, the bank foreclosed on the building during the whole process.

I worked there. I was head lifeguard. THEY ARE TERRIBLE OWNERS. none of our other “lifeguards” were certified except me. I always asked to drain the park and do a cleaning and they always said no. Every single life guard was high smoking weed. I had a lifeguard come in drunk and drop a 3 ft pole from the top slides once. I left because of the liability. Glad I got out before this stuff happened. If you go there don’t expect the life guards to save you. None of them were actual life guards , just high school kids high out their minds.
