I’ve fixed the audio issue and re-uploaded this + added chapters! I’ve had a few comments from people concerned about the weight of the Max on their helmets. It’s actually only 1 gram heavier than the Hero 11. Get a deal on the GoPro Max here to support me: prf.hn/l/kxvNxnN
I can see why you are so excited, I watch / follow a ton of pro riders. This angle and settings look so much better than most of them. You can shred like an absolute trail boss too.
i love your pov because can watch the trail and cockpit for the same time.and the art how you control your bike too.perfect!no doubt your pov is the best from other.greet job 🤘
Great information on using the Max. I have been using one for about 3 years and your video taught me things I did not realize that now make my videos better.
Answer to eternal question finally found ))) Chin mount works great since it's a bit lower than forehead, video feels faster, and still steep. The trick with disabling world lock and horizon lock also helps a lot with this horizontal way of mounting the camera, because with horizon lock OFF when camera crosses horizontal plane it can spin the footage 180 degrees.
Considering getting the gopro max for my b-day, love the diversity of the camera and all the cool shots you can get. I think a good camera is key to making quality videos, I'm trying to grow my following and video sick rides and possibly ski stuff too this winter. I have a 7 rn but I think it's time for an upgrade. Thanks Mark!
Thank you for this. I was about to give up on my 360. I nailed the 360 top helmet editing but it just didn't have that punch and dynamic your angles do. I'm literally mounting my last sticky mount now😅. Can't wait to get on the trail to show my wife and kids how fast I'm really going😮😅!
Hey I know this is old now and you're rocking an insta 360 these days, but I just wanted to say I recently got a gopro max and this video was super helpful so thank you :)
Warm greetings to you from the Southern Hemisphere of New Zealand!! Loving your content about the go pro max etc and immediately said to myself, yeah buddy! It’s not often I would Subscribe to channels but since my love affair with MTB has just gone through the roof, I’m clicking left n right and everywhere in between 😆 Gnarly footage, great editing, and very informative! look forward to the day I could perhaps emulate the standard In Which you have presented. Stay blessed 😇
Thanks for the great tips! I just got a gopro max and I was just wandering do you recommend using the protective lenses for mountain biking or not since I noticed you weren’t using them in the video?
how do you edit these, it looks amazing. Does the subscription gpro software make sense of the 360 at this pointed down angle or are you using some other app ?
These POV shots 🙌loving every twist + turn

Just bought a max and this video is the best I've seen so far for figuring out what angles work. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!

Yep I agree! Chin mount is my favourite at the moment.
I absolutely love this new angle! Definitely one of the best angles out there. Can't wait to see more of this footage! Cheers 🤙
Stoked to hear that! Thanks dean 👊

I think the max is your best bet if you’re looking for something versatile.

Do u got such a Video for 3rd Person? That would be grate!
Hey Mark, love you content. I believe you run the X3 now. Is the helmet mount the same for the X3?
Yes it’s the same! The x3 is a longer shape but it feels slightly lighter than the max
Mark what are your audio settings with this setup? My recordings sound like I’m trapped in a box
yes mark 1st
Thanks Josh!
1:00 Cook Creek Cougar Alley:)
Love that line
Thanks for the great tips! I just got a gopro max and I was just wandering do you recommend using the protective lenses for mountain biking or not since I noticed you weren’t using them in the video?
No, it ruins the quality of the video.
Happy dayz, all I need is a gopro now
Do it! 😊🤟

In the GoPro quik app and also the reframe fx plug-in for premiere pro
Hi Mark, do you know how I can export my videos in 5.6K directly with the Gopro Quick application? I can only get 1080P... How do you do it??
