I forgive through releasing them to the rightful Judge. I won’t carry it or desire to see their consequence. I give it to the Father and pray for their salvation, deliverance and restoration. And I move on in His love. Acknowledgment and repentance must precede pardon. Without it, it’s not my problem and out of my hands. I just hand it over to the one who can judge righteously. But what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me is that praying for those who have dealt with it against us is a powerful weapon against unforgiveness. Because how can you pray for someone you don’t forgive. It takes time, but I’m telling you praying for your enemies will break up that unforgiveness quicker than anything else.
