    Wow! I learn something EVERY time I watch your videos. I would have added a text box & filled it with white to hide the words / letters.

    Very helpful tip, thank you! I used it for job search to track for which role and to which company I uploaded a resume version. I did this by hiding notes in the header using the {comments} document property then inserting comments ad hoc via File -> Info -> Comments.

    I've only used that Hidden tab when trying to format for styles; I did NOT know I could use it like this! Thanks for the tip; you guys are very helpful!

      @@HeatherRP The WP Center does a lot of large documents, with heavy styling involved. When some documents are formatted, they operators use hidden paragraph codes which is delineated as red, paired with the regular (black) paragraph code. When the document is opened, you may see two paragraph codes at the end of the title but if you turn off the code, you'll only see the one. The red one contains all of the formatting: the heading style, paragraph style, etc. (I'm rather bad at describing it, but if you work in a Word Processing Center, you'll see what I mean. Most large firms are using an additional program on their systems, especially if they do a lot of blacklining (comparewrites). It's a LOT easier than using Microsoft 'switches', which still run into from outside-the-firm documents.

    You can press Control+Shift 8 to toggle the paragraph mark instead of clicking.

    What about just selecting the text and then select "text color" and make it "white?" Efectively causing it to be hidden...

      What if the background was a gradient of two colors or an image.

    Flash cards that you view in Word?
    Hide a picture you don't need in a printed document to save paper, ink, or time?

      You can hide images or any other objects in your text in exactly the same way - select the image and press Control+Shift+H or tick the Hidden box in the Font dialog.

    Hi Teacher, I have a question to ask, in Ms Word if Break page and then want to unBreak page, it can do or not?

    • @creativestudio-101
      @creativestudio-101 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can unbreak the page. Turn on the show hide option on the ribbon so that you can see the page break symbol, then click on it and delete it.

      Go to Font, then Effects. You'll see Hidden in the second column. (I primarily use Mac)

      either that or if you right click on the page of your word document, you'll get that drop-down of things, and one of them should be 'Font...' which brings up the exact same menu that he has.
