    Mussolini went to war against the mob in Italy, so that probably was a big reason why they were "patriotic" during WWII

      The US gov working with the Mob and in turn the US mobsters working with the Italian mobsters is one of the more fascinating aspects of world war 2. Ranks right up there with the Russians and Germans having a truce to hunt and kill the wolves that were harassing and demolishing their men while Germany was running through Russia in the beginning of their assault on Russia.

    Port Moresby is pretty exotic! It's suppose to be very dangerous but I have never been although I suppose that I may have flown over Papua New Guinea enroute from Singapore to Sydney?

    T.J English wrote a book about a subject related to this. The Corporation: An Epic Story of the Cuban American Underworld.
    Read it folks, it's brilliant. Btw great episode guys.
