Wow.. amazing to know how ATM transactions work. One question - do the ATMs literally have a physical switch in them , that is in turn connected to the CBS via TCP/IP, sending instructions in ISO format

Switch is actually a software.. the ATM connect via secured network to this Switching software

In inter-bank ATM transactions, isn't National Financial Switch involved ?? ( in place of Rupay, Visa)
