Enjoyed that Mo,never fished France but toured in a transit van, me and the Mrs and three kids loved it,mainly went to tour the battlefields from Dunkirk and day landings all up to northern battlefields, couldn't believe driving down the streets and just stopping and picking up them french sticks at many of the houses,then went on to another 8 country's,great mate. Always said we would do it again when kids have grown but I don't think I would now. To many people walking about at nite.
Nice story. That’s helped my confidence slightly. I’m new to the car world. I was introduced fell in love and become addicted in August 2023. Current PB is 15lbs. I’ve been invited by friends to certain venuess around Surrey and looking on the website and seeing the size of fish has well and truly put me off as I feel my equipment my ability are sub par but hearing this has given me the urge to go and see what happens. 👊🏻
Nice one just go for it. I think as a beginner confidence is key try and stick to a game plan 👍 easy to lose your head and start messing too much. Good luck hope you smash your PB! Thanks for watching
My friend and i fished it for 4 months solid back in 2000 when you could still night fish,we fished right down in the west arm the last 2 swims before the bouy line right at the entrance to the reserve and oh my god did we have some fish.The things that went on there i could make a list there was a porn film festival going on in Cannes so the whole lake area was full of all the these porn stars filming on pedlos and stuff,i have most of the trip on video was an amazing place although things do change over time but like you said there is always something to watch.
4 months that some session! I do remember I couple fishing in the west arm with a few month old baby they were doing 6 wks! Thanks for watching tight lines mate
Any fish from Casseien would blow me away which is why I went back another 2 times. What I meant was that having only ever having seen doubles in person I thought a forty would have been bigger (longer) but since they generally grow outwards in every way they arent as big (long) as I would have imagined. In recent years, I have done a fair bit of pike fishing and they look much bigger (longer) than they weigh. Hopefully that makes sence 👍
