  • All EMD, all AC traction, all Distributed Power action as Aurizon and Pacific National Downer/EMD GT42CU-ACes drag the day's production of 88,000-tonnes (97,000 short tons) out of the mines and across the coastal ranges to Abbot Point on Aurizon's 311km Newlands System in North Queensland, Australia. Big tonnes, long grades and narrow gauge brought together with the roar of twelve-cylinder EMD 710s.

That bridge at about to 30 minute mark is impressive.

Yep, that's the Bowen River bridge south of Collinsville. Pretty sure it's the biggest bridge on the Newlands Line. The Bowen River is a significant tributary for the Burdekin River.

Why are some coal wagons at Buckley painted white at one end and not other wagons?

Those with fresh paint have been mostly recently returned to service after long term storage.

At about 14.50, note the lower level former Collinsville line, nicely ballasted for empty trains, now just a very long passing loop.
