- Yogi Adityanath (Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh) discusses the progress of Uttar Pradesh. The MSME sector has grown leaps and bounds with the business-friendly environment to promote entrepreneurship. The speed of progress has accelerated with citizens of the state enjoying the ease of doing business as business owners as well as customers.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, progress and growth have not been hampered with investments flowing in due to the development shown in the past 4 years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aim to make India a $5 trillion economy is a shared dream that the people UP wholeheartedly believe is possible, says CM Yogi Adityanath.
Criminal activities and a framework to go for the easy buck have been dismantled that was allowed to proliferate during previous administrations so that the honest, tax-paying individual can get the best quality of life possible. Once Gulf Money dries up as Oil will be replaced by batteries there will be no remittances. Government is currently running on selling liquor and lotteries. There is no long term vision for the state. Infrastructure development is very low. Most of the Roads connecting villages and towns are single lane.

Yogi has done a good job for the state. I hope if he get's elected again in 2022, in the second term he focuses on Education and Healthcare Infrastructure so that all people can avail the best of Medical & Educational Facilities.
It would be great if he acquires the help of Private Sector in achieving this goal. Private Investment will be a must to achieve higher growth. Only Government by setting up AIIMS won't be able to make a big effect but if Private players are allowed to invest and set up Hospitals, Schools and Colleges it would really help UP. In this one thing UP can take inspiration from Delhi. Delhi Government has done well atleast in these 2 sectors. Apart from education, UP Govt. should set up 1 Industrial Training Institute in every district to provide semi-skilled labour to industries.
While building infrastructure is very important but if a State also has Skilled and Healthy labour then automatically it will be preferred over other areas.
5 things which he should focus on in his next term:-
1. Education Infrastructure (Also implement NEP)
2. Healthcare Infrastructure (Both Public and Private Hospitals) A 3 tier system can be implemented.
3. Road Infrastructure like he has done in the current tenure.
4. Waterways and Airports also need to be connected. Dedicated Freight Corridors and High Speed Railway Corridors also hopefully will be started.
5. Power Sector Reforms to give more incentives to industries. Power and Logistics sector is very important to help Industrialisation.
