I lost my left eye at 16 to a screwdriver. It's not easy losing such an important body part, but it is manageable. I'm sorry you are going through this test and I pray for your recovery in adapting to your unfortunate circumstances. All praises to God, and prayers to Mar Mari.

Man I feel for you bro, I nearly did just from a sharp pencil in my left eye. I was in agony for 3 weeks until they realized I still had shards of lead in my eye still and slightly damaged my Iris as the blue has gone a bit. I can only imagine what you went through ,Blessings to you and yours!

@@Durray13 Yeah, there is no problem in this. Man committed sin against God and inherited a curse that couldn't be overcome without the sacrifice of death, so God came as a man to perform that perfect sacrifice himself to end the curse. The mercy in this is that he told man not to sin against him, yet we did, and even though we directly broke his law, he stepped in to take the punishment we deserved in a way that both doesn't break his own law, but also delivers us mercy.
He has a birthday because that's the day he entered the world as a man. When you go on vacation to another country, and then come home, is there no date the vacation began on just because you weren't on vacation before it began? Don't be silly, being born is just an event that happens, it does not coincide with 'being created' - He can wholly have no beginning yet was physically born on some day 2000 years ago.

I was blinded in one eye when I was 4 years old. The sight in my other eye is perfect, even though I'm now in my 70's. God restores what life takes away
Lost mine at 16. At 48 my other one is failing me. Sometimes we don't get what we want. When we don't, we need to trust that God has a plan and a reason for our setbacks and disappointments. All praises to God, and may you be blessed.

We are all being taught lessons every day. It seems that right now we are in a speed learning exercise. It's like we are being taught lessons at the end of an open and ever flowing fire hose. Jesus told us that we would be hated by the world. He came not to unite, but to divide. We are getting down to the real sausage making of faith. The ugly part we would like to forget. The pain. The suffering. It is out of the pain and suffering that we can better understand the love of Jesus and God. We get angry with each other over trivial things, and big ones, but imagine how God must feel while watching us continue to make choices that are against His Will? I say "imagine", because we can't know how God feels. He still pours out His love on us. Jesus IS His ever present love. May The Lord's Will be done on this Earth as it is in Heaven. Amen.
