Bassoonist here. So amazing to hear such beautifully even, rich tone. Even the notoriously thin notes sound rich and match their neighbors. And exquisite phrasing and musicality throughout. Just gorgeous!
you know, i've never heard this piece and from the first half of it i thought it was going to be this calm warm and almost somberish little work, but nope, the last movement slapped me across the face and i never recovered :)
What a wonderful piece of music. It is sounds very Poulencesque. I usually don't get excited about music I h was haven't heard before but this blows me away. Esquisitely performed !
Bravissimo Jensen. A norwegian bassonist among the topp players. I hope he will do some more and better pieces, there is a lot great music written for the bassoon. Do they know you in Norway?

this recording by Dag was one of the recordings that inspired me to pursue bassoon :)
4:51 onward put a smile on my face. this sounds so pleasant :)
Absolutely exquisite music.
Great composition! Wonderful played!
This guy's name got made fun of a lot. Awesome piece and awesome performance!!
Awesome! Thanks a lot. This concertino is really a beast to master
Fantastico!
Go Marcel!
Go Dag! 🎼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
What a nice concertino, in some part it reminds me of ravel's piano concerto
What a coincidence I was precisely looking for a score video of this, and it was posted just last week!.. Please do tansman suite and sonatine ;)
Bellísimo, gracias por compartir!!
omg that was incredible. I hope to be able to play this at some point in my career

Bitschin piece
Poulenc, anyone?
Erm, just a little. Thought I'd best check the comments before I made the precise same observation
It's very like Poulenc's oboe sonata, but this piece predates it by about 14 years!
@@michaelcorkery3853Do you think it's a concertino for 14 years?
I could never play a high E well. D# is easy enough, but the E comes and goes.
Que hermosi
It makes me so mad that people only use bassoon for "fat stupid clumsy bear waddling" when it's capable of this
Sounds like Danny Elfman, or maybe Elfman sounds like Bitsch
I brought BTS here❤️❤️❤️😍
BTS lol 😂
lol
don’t
Lol, Bitsch
