Any update on the yolk? I ordered one from Temu as well and looking forward to getting it soon.
Yeah it’s doing fine. Hasn’t came apart yet at the stitching. Seems solid.
Awesome! Looking forward to getting mine soon
@@paulsperformance Thanks for this info. I was wondering if there was quality differences with the lower cost ones but looks like they are just better deals. I will be getting one soon!!
I going to order one for my Model Y and install it. You made it easy. Thank you.
Can you share the actual link you bought it from?
Temu is selling your personal data to the black market. Many of you may find mooooore random calls after you purchase from them.
Never did. All my info is through apple including my card info so even when a lot of people say they got their cards stolen. It’s because they put their actual cards on there
Always thought about getting a yoke for my model 3. How do you feel about the yoke in terms of feel and practicality? What are your positives or negatives?
I actually like it. It’s very comfortable to drive with. It does sit lower but it doesn’t bother me. Turning really hard is a little awkward coming from a round steering wheel but it’s much easier to use one hand for hard turns and once you get used to it it’s not bad. Backing up and turning is a little awkward also but I’m used to it now.I personally don’t have any complaints but I could see how some people wouldn’t like it. Overall I like it a lot better.
I was curious if you still have the yoke on and how it’s holding up? Is yours heated and if so does that work good? I’m thinking about getting that one from Temu also.
Yes mine is still on and doing great. I don’t have the heated part though on mine so I wouldn’t know about that part but it seems to hold up well. Stitching is still in tack also.
@@paulsperformance ok thank you for the info, much appreciated and liked the video!
How are you liking the yolk 6 months later? Quality holding up? Any times the wheel didn’t work or stutter?
It’s still holding up nicely. As far as operation it utilizes the factory switches so no troubles there. All the stitching still looks great as well.
@@paulsperformance that’s good to hear. By any chance, is there any other modifications you’ve done to your tesla?
@@Ihatwpwrsona5 nothing major. I’ve changed wheel covers few times. Only other kinda in depth mod was wrapping all the trim black and replacing the badges with black badges. I had planned on lowering it but haven’t gotten to it yet.
So I am open for advice
Mine didn’t work…my car started grinding and braking with ton of errors
That sucks. Mine is still doing great. Grinding from where? It shouldn’t affect anything electrical on the car as it uses the factory Tesla parts that were already on it.
Grinding sound from the frunk area.
Are you saying it has Tesla logo on the wheel you bought? That will be legit. So far I have only seen one place selling that. But it’s 300+
Looks cool, but I can guarantee you that steering wheel will bend on impact. Temu quality will be shit…
Yeah it probably will. It feels pretty stout to be from TEMU though. But at least it kept the factory airbag. I have had far less safer steering wheels on other vehicles. The removable jdm steering wheel being the worse. I could actually bend those by hand where this one I could not.
@@paulsperformance exactly the same type of steering wheels I was thinking about lol 😂
@@calvincosta5150 yes they were fun and kinda cool but very sketchy lol
You don’t know what the quality is like from these other companies you’ve never heard of before that make after market Tesla parts. All that stuff comes from china. You have no idea how good or bad any of it is, and I’m only being real.
R u Mexican? 🌯
