Hint to tourists: if you are doing walk-along recording, do not drift along right next to the drums. They will drown out out the fifes. Be close to the fifes and maximize your distance from the drums.

At 1:14 on, Yes -- slowed down a LOT to accomodate the Slow March the corps is performing

In trying to defend the Colonial Williamsburg Fife and Drums, you have inadvertently insulted them. To my knowledge, they are the only professional (paid) civilian Fife and Drum Corps on the globe. The reasons Men of Harlech sounds out of tune are 1.) The fife has a mixylodian chromatic register, there are two notes that are untrue, particularly the upper e. 2.) The entire Fife section is tuned to flat B flat based on an original fife from the time period. It is not a normal register for a modern band. They have thought-out reasons for why it is they way it is. They are not merely unprofessional students.

Colonial Williamsburg est un superbe ensemble musical. Cette musique est entraînante. Bravo à cette troupe. J'espère un jour les voir en France, ça serait génial !

Nope. Go look it up and then come back and correct your statement.

Charlie Lemmel what they are wearing is historically accurate. Since they aren't soldiers they wear the opposite colors of the Continental Army so the other army won't shoot at them

Actually they were! Great Britain introduced the color Tan to the Royal American Colonies in 1592! Indian "Khaki" wasn't available until 1838...
