I am so excited for this. We enjoyed fields and flowers, but the videos were often over my little guys head and didn't keep his focus. He loves the stories though. The experiments and audio narration with the games I think will be a great change.
Oh man I’m going to miss the videos that were in the first version! I do wish the consumables were in a separate pack, but I am glad they added them! I found/printed my own coloring pages for the first version.
I know what you mean about th3 videos! But after doing the lessons i actually forgot about the videos and love now that we have videos in the first one and audio in this one... just to change things up a bit! If you have the app they have some print out for optional activities that go a long with the lesson( at least for the first one they do )

Earlier this year we were out on the road during a tornado warning, rain came down so hard, a realitor sign blew under our car preventing us from moving for a few, across the street from the doctor office we were headed to the powerline fell and was blowing sparks and the poles were bent in half because they were wooden and old not metal yet. Went into the basement of doctor office. Never experienced anything like that before. Kids were a little traumatized. They are ok now but we definitely are scared of storms.
I have a 1st and 3rd grade ( we just finished fields and flowers) I want to beef this up a bit. Would you add TGTB science unit weather & marine biology or would you use Masterbooks Heaven and Earth Beginners? I don’t want to use the upper grade Heaven and Earth looks to long but we have done safety unit with TGTB when my youngest was 5 and she did great. Thoughts??? We use TGTB for all core and hand writing since prek
That's a great idea to add the weather and marine biology! We've loved all the units we've done from TGTB... and adding Marine biology and weather is a great idea. They have a free pdf download of marine biology so you could always take a look at it before you purchase any physical copies! Or use the free pdf of marine biology and see how it goes!

Wow ... just wow!! I did see a tornado forming once when I was on the highway and I freaked out... but yeah that's so scary and traumatizing!
Florida has hurricanes AND tornadoes! 😂 GA too. We had a hurricane come through and the sound masked the tornado tearing up our front yard.
