I wanted to pick something mid ranged, I know I could go S2 with both and get the fastest times, which I may just try later to see if there is a different result, but I felt mid ranged was a good balance, I often find myself driving around in A or just about A class cars
This is actually a very interesting video topic I doubt there's a horizon player that hasn't thought about whether the straight path is actually faster. Looking forward to more content 🔥👊
@Orbeezzzz584I once saw a video about fh6 in which there was a discussion about the place where the action could take place. When it comes to Germany, people often argue that there is a Nurburgring and an autobahn there, so they would be perfect for Forza. However, it is unlikely that they will appear in the series because they are simply too large objects and would take up too much of the map. Germany is a very nice proposition for the next game due to the possibility of using the themes of the beginning of the automotive industry and car culture, as well as many beautiful places. However, I think that the creators will want to make another game in a more distinctive location after the map in fh5 seems empty. I would love to see the next game in an Asian country (not necessarily Japan) or in a country with a colder climate.
You probably should've done a practice run on each car. The crashes in the beginning of the cross country run could have easily been avoided, but nice idea nonetheless
I did do a few short goes to get a rough idea, but I didn’t stress about them as it’s no different from having a car crash on the road that could be avoided, it’s the little imperfections I like 👍
Es wäre viel sinnvoller gewesen, den besten Run mit, jeweils den bestem Auto für die jeweiligen Strecken, miteinander zu vergleichen. Dann wäre es ungefähr 2:10(offroad) zu 3:20(Straße)
I will revisit with the fastest cars possible for each method, my main idea was having two cars that I could both get to the top of a class, mainly because I'm typically not in a super or hyper car, but like so many have said I will do it again in a few weeks :)
Any car, as long as you can keep from spinning out, will be faster going across the map in a more or less straight line than following the road. The one exception being taking the big highway from one side to the other, because the paved road provides more speed than going offroad in a straight line. Maybe the volcano and the dunes. Aside from that, there's so much empty space. I hate how much this game has you cut across the roads and not corner. Horizon 4 did this too, but to a lesser extent. This sort of map might be "Designed for The Eliminator", but that's exactly why The Eliminator is so boring and luck-based, there's no corners to take, aside from dodging the occasional object. For Horizon 6, each race should have at least one checkpoint (But usually more) in-between the start and finish to force people to corner. Hopefully Horizon 6 has a radical change in this area, not to mention many others. Honestly at this point, I'm not very likely to get it
@@DSW_314With how that game turned out? Actually I shouldn't have to go to a track racer (Which I do like btw) just to not constantly drive in a straight line across the map. Just look at Horizon 4 before and after the update which added anti-ramming and anti-wallgrinding precautions. Turns out it's wrong to go tell people to play Motorsport instead when they're complaining about a flaw with the game that can be fixed And btw, I don't even dislike offroading, it's just that when the offroad parts of the map are so flat and featureless that you're supposed to across them without turning, that's boring
I didn’t even notice the tyres, it’s been ages since I made the car, turns out to be a custom tune, I’ve tried see what the top speed would be with proper tires but it will remove the tune and It won’t be an exact comparison. From what I’ve seen looking at other people’s tune, same class car with better tires, their max speed is around 4km/h higher
Sorry for the Pun I like going straight.. across the map; good fun to play chicken - try to get across without ending beached on a rock or taking out a Yuppie on the road
I think most of my driving is off road, I'm either in an off road car or my Audi RS4 and just drive direct to where I need to go, always way more fun. Also never need to apologise for puns!
@@AdamVPthe mosler is the fastest straightline car for offroad (besides the pro stock camaro but that cant turn at all) and the sesto is by far the best handling car in the game for road

@ Yeah, he did which is surpisingly commendable for a big channel. I tried to edit my comment to include this info but for some reason it didn't register.
Probably not the best times but doesn't matter, simple yet entertaining just because you had fun doing it, congrats!

enjoyed this and cant wait for fh6, subscribed.
What location do you think they should do next?
@AdamVP definitely Germany because of the Nurburgring, autobahn and multiple easy to tell apart seasons
I actually love that idea, that would be a really cool map. I've seen a fan made map idea for Japan as well, I was hoping it was real

If you like proper cornering more than going offroad, they also have a game called "Forza Motorsport" that you might enjoy more ...

use s2 mosler for offroad vs x class sesto forza edition
I can give it a go! I figure out a good format to do that in, perhaps a short or two

Just goes to show how flat the map is.
Are you somehow related to JackUltraGaming?
Haha no I’m not, but I just had a look at the channel and I understand why you might ask 😂

Fast travel
That is very true, just not as fun!
follow the highway and you're faster
This video would do better if there was no talking, and it was 5:45 long with the two cars edited side by side.

Worst Map in this game worst than 5 and 3 please do FH4 map please
I could definitely do 4, might actually be a bit fairer depending which direction I pick
Jackultragamer did this
Jack did indeed, my video gave him the idea 😊
