- How to get your podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify - I'm going to show you how to launch your podcast to Apple and Spotify, specifically showing you how to host a podcast on Squarespace, because that is my personal preference (but I'll also go over some other options as well) don't feel intimidated! It's not that difficult to you, I'm going to show you everything step by step :)

Hi Katie! Thank you so much for sharing this! SO helpful! I do have a quick question for you -- I noticed that their Squarespace has a limit of 300 episodes. So what happens once you reach 300 episodes? Does it archive the older episodes or stop you from adding new ones?

Great motivational video I’ve been searching for good videos in TH-cam to guide me. Will you do an updated version of 7.0 square space ? Do I need to add a new yearly blog to upload to Spotify ? I can’t figure out how to add a block to add my “ audio or video “ so it can be accepted on other pages .

Thank you for this video and the series, it has been so helpful! Once we have our podcast is approved, can we just continue to upload it to our Squarespace, or do we have to continue to do the whole RSS link process?
Update: I went ahead and uploaded my second episode to Square space and it did automatically update, but my next question is....
I accidentally uploaded the wrong audio to Square space. I updated it on my blog but it seems the audio was only updated on Apple Music and not on Spotify. I forgot to add the intro at first and now on Spotify the first 30 seconds are silent! 🤣🤦🏾♀️
Can this method work with Wix? I already have a website there with a blog.
Unfortunately not! Wix doesn't allow you to create your own RSS feed 😭

I started a podcast about a year ago, and I am just going back to it. Wondering if you ever had the Soundcloud pro account or just the free account? Cause I know you can only have so many episodes on there at a time? So I recently moved to Spreaker cause it is cheaper than Soundcloud pro but I am trying to weigh the benefits of paying for a hosting platform.
Hello question I couldn't add the ? mark for the rss on the url it has to be on the Squarespace or only ad it on the iTunes podcast?

Hi Katie, great video. I need help please, Apple is driving me nuts. I don't like anything apple or use one. Have been trying to submit my podcast via android and Windows devices but I can't seem to get through.
I was prompt to create an apple Id which I did but every time I sign in to apple connect, it takes me to a page requesting that I create an iTunes store account, when I click on the link, it takes me to support 😡😡😡 do I have to create iTunes store account separately? And how do I go about it please?

I have a strange question that I can't find an answer for. I want to start a podcast where i discuss my favorite albums from different genres. I know I can't play actual music from the albums without licensing permission, but am I able to even discuss particular albums without licensing permission? For example I want to do a podcast about, say, the album 'Back In Black' by AC/DC. Am I legally allowed to speak in depth about the album, its production, the band members, which songs i love, etc... without licensing permission? I don't want to get sued by my favorite artists just for talking about them.
Hey! So I believe that even playing small experts from the music that you're providing commentary on would be allowed under "fair use" - I'm not an expert on copyright so I would encourage you to further research fair use and what it would allow you in terms of music commentary. Because I listen to a few different music podcasts (Switched On Pop for example) and they play clips of the music they're talking about! But certainly you can talk about lyrics, production credits, and everything like that no problem
