Iv'e worked with The Misfits, and Slipknot and so, soo many other bands i cant remember right now. But all i have to say is yeah, not having the job, you might think its fun.. But working at the place a band is going to play, even if you like, or even love the band, a job is a job. And sometimes these bands have requests that are just so OUT there you cant even believe they're fucking asking for such demands. I'm not a roadie or anything, i just set up stages for bands at a certain arena, and many BIG bands have played there, (ones i enjoy from the 80's AND 90's and some even from recent years. (Lets say Sabbath for example). It CAN be fun but usually not, setting up for these Musicians is a pain when they have money and want something a certain way just because they can boss you around.. Most of the times they want it a certain way because they know what the sound is that they want because they know where thy're performing and know the soundscape. But most just like bossing people around. It's a shit show. My point is, a job is a job setting up for these people really, truly sucks more than half of the time.

Pretty much all artist who played real instruments (aka non electronic) actually WROTE the other instruments parts in songs. It is pretty cool getting a good example of an artist fooling around

Lots of bands at that level of success would keep a full drum kit setup backstage so if anything broke while performing, stage crew could quickly replace it with stuff from that kit. I think that might be what they were doing here. That or if there were any other bands performing it was their kit
