Hello, I read some Sidney McLaughlin fans commenting that she is going to destroy Marita Koch's 400m record: 1) she never went under 11 in the 100m 2) she went under 22 in the 200m, she has no speed for NOW because she doesn't have indoor track records of 60 in the 200m and 400m that Marita Koch had. One thing that is right about not getting into the diamond league is exhausting, unless you take everything as it happened in 1988 with a mediocre sprinter and SURPRISE US.

Dalilah Muhammad is 3rd all time and is over 1 second down. Who on earth could swap to the 400mh and break that wr? Paulino the olympic champion who sydney ran faster than just the other day over the 400m flat? I'm assuming you don't really follow athletics because the no-name argument is really just not true. In her event she has ran against literally every other top 10 all time performer that is currently active (that's 6 of them) and beats them all...every time. She wanted to run the diamond league final 400m flat but wasn't allowed as she didn't have enough points from her lack of diamond league participation prior this season. That's her fault (obviously), but she has beaten the very best in her event, and wants to challenge in other events (400) when she has the chance.

In 2025, Paulino should challenge Sydney in a Grand Slam track meet. But, there you have to run 2 different events over 2 days. They could run a 400m race one day And a 400m hurdle race the other day. On the off-chance that Sydney doesn't win both races, and they each win one, the overall winner would be determined by the lowest combined time of each runner in their 2 races. My money would be on Sydney.

Instead they disrespected Grant and paid out good money to have Sydney literally race against herself, winning with times that were quite underwhelming. Did you actually find those races exciting?
