What she did isn't easy. To run an all out 400m and not have dead legs the next day for the sprints is very impressive. It would have been easier to run the 200 then run the 400 a day later. She's a beast!
How is that very impressive when at most championships, athletes will run their semifinals and finals within one day of each other. Not to mention the athletes that do multiple events across two days.

Sidney is not competitive. She’s running such few races that she always has fresh legs in comparison to the others athletes. Running these times on long rest in her prime, gives her a clear competitive advantage.
If that were true, all the elite athletes would be doing it. And they’re not. Furthermore, she TRAINS, just like all of them. It’s training that drains the athlete much more than racing. You can dial one up, and the other down, to control recovery. In any case, if that’s her strategy, it’s working.
Your analysis is so flawed. You run at your best not foolishly like you are suggesting. You probably do not understand her strategy of staying in top form.
@@sevavityoikaa5296 English is obviously not your primary language. And apparently neither is elite athletics. Every single elite athlete competes with injuries and some level of exhaustion because they train so hard. For the biggest events they try to TAPER by reducing intensity and volume. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. But nobody just rests and rests and rests and competes. Elite athletes like Sidney train harder because they have great recovery chemistries. But she has the talent and coaching to pick and choose when she runs. Your logic does not track, and I realize you can’t communicate clearly. But EVERY athlete attempts to run well over a long period, so if Sidney’s strategy was “not competitive” (whatever that means for someone with world records and an almost UNDEFEATED record!) then she wouldn’t win. If she was benefiting from rest, everyone else would try to benefit in the same way. But they’re not. If her strategy was a “clear competitive advantage” then 1) she IS VERY COMPETITIVE! And 2) all there competitors would be trying to match that strategy. So why aren’t they?!? You simply don’t understand elite athletes. Sidney is HYPER competitive (contrary to what you wrote). And I refuted “fresh legs” by simply stating the obvious-elite athletes are constantly training very, very hard. You’re neglecting the fundamentals of competition and contradicting yourself in an attempt to denigrate one of the world’s greatest, most competitive, most highly trained athletes. So in that sense, it reveals more about you.

she was going to but they didn’t let her
Haters got mad/scared and prevented it.
@@JF-NYdems the rules, she chose not to attend any diamond league meets for the season
@@JF-NY It was a matter of fairness. She can't fail to compete in any of the diamond league races and then just waltz right into the finals. She didn't earn a spot in the finals, period. All your "haters got scared" talk is bulsh*t
Not impressed and didn’t expect her to run under 22. Also don’t see her getting anywhere near the 400 world record. She’s an amazing talent in the 400 hurtles and open 400 but 47 high is not happening ever unless she’s on steroids
Puede llegar es más natural que FLO FLO ya tiene trayectoria y recodis FLO FLO no tenía nada al 31 12 1987
Nah is chilly in brussels no one running crazy times 😂
What she did isn't easy. To run an all out 400m and not have dead legs the next day for the sprints is very impressive. It would have been easier to run the 200 then run the 400 a day later. She's a beast!
You ever heard of Maria Jose Perec? If you don’t know who that is then be silent.
How is that very impressive when at most championships, athletes will run their semifinals and finals within one day of each other. Not to mention the athletes that do multiple events across two days.
I believe Gaby Thomas time in the 200m Olimpics was faster than McLaughlin's time in this race. Obviously, Gaby was not in shape for this race. McLaughlin' running the 400 meters when Paulino is not there
What race was it that Sydney destroyed Gabby in the 200??
I hope next year she only does the ,400 m because i can see her retiring after 2028 Olympics, and I no she wants to break that 400 metres world record 47.60
Made a meal out of this video didn’t you!
Sydney : Hurdles or no hurdles, i run….
Sir just revise successive Division solution... u forgot to add 7+4 in 1st step... answer is C 234.
Weird how every 200m athlete reaches peak speed at 40-60m, then slows down continuously to the finish. Why? I don’t think the 100m & 400m have this behavior.
So, two solid races, but nowhere near as dominant as she is over the 400h.
She looked face ready for 21.8 atleast. Weather damn
Cold weather don’t slow u down by 0.6 of a second bro … that’s like saying kung fu Kenny had 19,07 in him today 🙄
300m 48s. Wow. I run 200m 48s. Put my record on your video too
Wow that’s slow for Gabby
I don’t think she is trying 😂. She got her gold medal so relaxing, tired or injured. She ran under 22 for the Olympic final and trials
@@annmariebusu9924???
She the new Felix ngl
That`s the point. She ran faster than Paulino
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
@@tmlogan139 I love both. Maybe a little more Paulino. But is Entertainment. And this clash it going to happen!
What’s that saying; “ when the cat’s away, the mice will play!” Shericka isn’t around and it’s interesting to see and hear the platitudes(deservedly) and hype others are getting! I know some are hoping Ms Jackson stays away or doesn’t come back better! Enjoy yourselves…for now! Side note: how and why is Gabby Thomas on the AoY list but Faith isn’t!?
My prediction was 22.2. So much for breaking 22!
too dam cold in September in Europe
@@Joyce-zl4qd Bolt ran 9.77s in Brussels years ago in similar cold vs Asafa.
@@StGCfiLifeexactly. That s an excuse. Fast times can very well be run in cold weather. Only impediment is a very strong head wind.
Stop making excuses for her. She is simply not built for 400m and 200m
😂😂😂
Women 400m WL 43.4 s
Wow. Thought 47. 6s?
Your showing @ 43 second WL for the 400 womens lead. You got som ething wrong...(@ 42 seconds)
In both the 200 and the 400 she was not even wearing spikes
Mclocklin??
Why was she wearing long pants in the 400m?
If you win I win period
How long before the Grand Slam Track series goes bankrupt?
This to me makes absolutely no sense. Quite farcical to be honest. What exactly was really proven here? Yes, Sydney no doubt collected a hefty paycheck but let's see her race against a healthy Shericka Jackson for this to be taken seriously. Outside of Shericka the 200M field is pretty lame at this point in time.
you sound so silly. Pro Track is about money and entertainment. poor non sponsored athletes will race an actual Cheetah in Africa if it pays nice. They are not scarred of each other. Bol racing against all those B class and C class sprinters is the same thing.
@@Joyce-zl4qd So why did they not pay Grant Holloway the amount he wanted to have him contest the finals of the 110M hurdles, which would have made the event much more interesting. Instead they disrespected Grant and paid out good money to have Sydney literally race against herself, winning with times that were quite underwhelming. Did you actually find those races exciting?
Doping won that race
Womans run in first clip but WL time was from mans race
Hopefully she races more next season, unless she decides to start a family.
Let's hope not. Kids ruin your mind body and spirit.
@@ShotofLuxury I mean Shelly Ann had a child as well as Faith , Allyson and Nia.
@Patrick-i9i Works for some but not all. Just look around you. Some women's body's can't handle pregnancy because if it did, they wouldn't need surgery to correct it. Motherhood isn't for everyone. It is physically and mentally taxing and draining. You definitely need that whole village when you get tired. I would❤️to ask all of those ELITE athletes just how it changed them in every aspect.
SM start a family? 😂 no woman would want to marry 'him'.
@mfinn7185 Wait. Say that again because it didn't make sense. I believe they were talking about Sydney who happens to be a very MARRIED BIOLOGICAL GIRL, er, WOMAN..👀So I hope you're not trying to be that UNfunny
Sydney proves that white runners can compete in track and field
Sydney racing these scrubs is not a good look for anyone
Scrubs? Wow
Little Sisters of the Poor
Don't take it so seriously! This was just an opportunity for her to assess her mechanics/speed and determine what needs to be worked on during the off season.
It is my impression, but watching the results in all sprinting categories, the track looks pretty slow , although today seemed to improved the weather conditions. Paulino really slow and rest of rivals pretty far. Brit Brown 22.20 and rest very far; 100 s discrete results for this level ...
What do you mean Paulino really slow? Paulino is faster than her 🤣🥴🤦♂️
@@XxAziCodxX1
In 2025, Paulino should challenge Sydney in a Grand Slam track meet. But, there you have to run 2 different events over 2 days. They could run a 400m race one day And a 400m hurdle race the other day. On the off-chance that Sydney doesn't win both races, and they each win one, the overall winner would be determined by the lowest combined time of each runner in their 2 races. My money would be on Sydney.
Paulino is the best...💯
I assume the others race regularly for the money whereas she can simply make bank off sponsorship
Sound like a Femke Bol fan !
