I can only imagine how surreal it must be for both guys here. For older Tails getting to see other versions of his Sonic still alive and for modern Sonic to see an older alternate version of his little buddy that grew up to be the strong hero he’s always been destined to be.

This episode was way past cool! It's said that this version of Tails' Sonic died leaving Tails to shoulder the mantle his Sonic left behind. It was nice that Modern Sonic was able to encourage that Tails and assure him that he doesn't have to try to be like Sonic, but his own person. Even cooler is that older Tails is in a committed relationship with his Cream back in his world. I wish we knew what became of the Amy of that universe after Sonic's untimely death, but it is what it is.
