THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM . This single test alone has prevented me from graduating with my masters degree. I have emailed superintendence and county commissioners, and not gotten any response. Yes, I understand they make these teachers certification test very hard, but this test is way too hard for somebody that is just trying to teach a first grader, math and run a classroom. That’s my opinion and I stand by that and I don’t think I’m the only one struggling but it infuriates me that they wanna outsource everything to people studying in other countries because those are the only people that are going to be able to pass this test unless you’re 21. When I entered my masters degree program, I had to take the 5019 and my dumbass didn’t take it in time and they change the testing requirements so I have no one to blame but myself however, at the end of the day they are discouraging American citizens from taking this test by making it so hard I mean we’re not trying to teach high school math. Why are we being tested on such hard math problems? Excuse my language but I am outraged and I only pass the other three test because of your company and because of you and your husband. They need to change this test to word problems and basic arithmetic and things that we would be tested on to teach students. I mean even test us on curriculum in theory. So now I have everything completed except for this test, and guess what I can’t get a job, I’m in debt, and I didn’t graduate all because I am too unintelligent to pass this test. I passed the first praxis core so I know I can do math. I really appreciate you guys doing a video on this. Dr. Jasper and her team are incredible human beings.

@@brad7855 no I did not, and that test single-handedly prevented me from getting my graduate degree and providing a good life for my child. When I entered the graduate program, it was a different praxis based on curriculum and essays. Then they broke it into the four series I believe it’s completely wrong for them to expect you to understand that type of math knowledge when you want to teach elementary students how to do basic arithmetic.
