    It would also be more helpful if you provided more things related to the English digital SAT part because I’m really struggling with the English part, especially cross-text questions :( if you could also give some tips on how to be quick on solving the questions. Anything will be helpful!

    at 10:44, could the sentence have been "The project requires careful planning; it should be executed meticulously", like could we have gotten rid of the transition word?

    • @bruhwhat5674
      @bruhwhat5674 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe you can remove the transition word because it’s still two independent clauses being connected by the semi colon. I apologize if I’m incorrect.

  • @niaougo

    but how can i know if the sentence make sense or not, because all my fault is about i can't determine an independent or a dependent clause. please answer me

    Hello Riptiva, congrats on getting into princeton, can u tell me how much is our GCSE relevant for my application to ivy? What if i didn't submit it? Where/how they gonna look at it? Thanks so much for your information 😊

      @EdisonvsTesla with every application you must submit your school grades as well and they are definitely relevant - see my stats and extracurricular video for instance I include it there too

    At 2:43, if we removed the non-essential element of their brother being a chef, would we keep one comma or would we instead get rid of both commas?

    • @toxicdubz3841
      @toxicdubz3841 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If we get rid of both commas when we get rid of that detail to me it would make more sense to not have the first comma in the original sentence

    I don't understand why Example 2 at 12:54 couldn't be option B.

    • @bruhwhat5674
      @bruhwhat5674 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was confused by that too. The rule with semi colons is that it’s connecting two independent clauses. “Who would live over 170 years before passing away at the Australia zoo in 2006” is dependent, or doesn’t make sense on its own, therefore wrong. Sorry if you’re still confused.

    • @indusbeats9743
      @indusbeats9743 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      using who in the second clause makes it dependent but u need an independent one for semi colon ya dig

    Hey there, watching and listening to you made me know more about sat but also I have little doubts about it,first of all congratulations for following your dream🎊,I wanted to ask studying aboard need a heavy expense so can we get upto 70% percentage scholarship or any other that can help us financially,how did you cope up with this?I heard if you want to study into ivy you must have extra activities or have olympiad exams,and good marks,so I wanted to ask how did they do selections and how you got into,and if you know in India they is a huge race towards iit mains and advanced if we get these exams,can we be accepted into?thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and helping us out,will be looking out for more ❄️🌈

    • @RiptivaRoy
      @RiptivaRoy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! For the details of activities, grades, etc. that I obtained, check out this video: th-cam.com/video/Uv8WiIBu1Ac/w-d-xo.html
      For financial aid, it depends on the institution. Most Ivy Leagues have financial aid, but the amount of aid/scholarship you get depends on your income bracket and there are classifications for how much you are eligible for depending on your parents' salaries.... So you would have to ask your parents to fill out the FAFSA forms etc., to apply for financial aid and they will let you know of your outcome after you have been admitted. For example I applied regular decision and submitted a financial aid application alongside it, which got approved a few weeks after I received my admission letter. I have heard of it taking longer for others - I guess it may depend how early you also submit it. So it's definitely possible and worked out for me, but again, it depends on your household income status.
      IIT mains/advanced exams (I'm assuming you mean JEE or so) on their own will not get you accepted, it depends on many factors and good grades is just one of them. Hope this helped you! you can contact me on my instagram if needed :))
