I used to spend countless hours speeding through everything (before I knew about speedrunning) and not really "enjoying" games to the fullest. Then I got Metroid Prime. My first experience with Metroid in any capacity. I was really into it. So much so that I would leave my GCN running all night on the same song just to fall asleep to it. When I got to Phendrana for the first time, I was awe struck. My pacing slowed even further (and not because of the terrifying pirate sections) and once I got to the Depths......something clicked. I started observing everything. Every little detail was important at that point. This track....changed how I experienced games, and life itself. It allowed me to begin to really appreciate the beauty around me. So to reflect that, I literally changed my name to what you see now. Sven + Phendrana = *ME* Anyways, thanks for this remix. I can't get enough of them. And this one is hitting all the right vibes!
I have always preferred Phendrana Drifts Depths over normal Phendrana. No just because it's a bop but also because I can't help but associate these acid sounds from the 2000s with huge cracking icebergs or the surface of the ice sheet. When someone ask me what should ice sound like i always point them to these kind of sounds. Thank you SynaMax. :)
I can't really explain it. I often listen to Metroid music, usually those compilation kinda vids, so I often hear Phendrana Depths. But your remix somehow brought me back to 8yo me sitting in front of the tele just standing around in Phendrana, listening to the music, seeing Samus wave her gun about. Awesome stuff mate
Wow, amazing recreation..there seems to be alot more going on in the background in this remix, I think it sounds better then the original IMO. Its amazing that people can compose things like this, Nintendos composers are truly top tier. And a job well done to you guys for doing it such justice.

Phenomenal. I really liked the structure of the original, but it felt a little too empty if I was listening to it outside of the game. This remix fills that empty space and, in my opinion, makes it much better to listen to. It's unfortunate that you can't monetize it like so many Pokémixers can, you really are great at what you do. :)
Tbe drifts got 2 mixes cause its the best song of tha game obviously! Hey @SynaMax do you do commissions? I see so many Kraid's Lair remixes in Prime style: it would be nice to have Ridley's Lair Remix from the Original; or Zero Mission in Prime style: Underrated song in my oppinion..
Unfortunately, my day job and real life stuff are so hectic right now, I can't take any commissions at this time (even though I really want to). I'm hopeful this will change in the future.
Personally, there's a lot of music in Metroid Prime 2 that I like a lot. The style does change in Metroid Prime 3 to a more orchestral vibe, which I'm not the biggest fan of, personally.

At Eastern time at 7:06 AM, I bought the Obit 3. looking around on Reverb.what is difference in the Emu virtuoso 2000 and Orchestra one. Then there is the Protues 2000s is all the roms in that one? Because I not shore what rom I looking for. So far couldn't find the xl turbo most be Rare as well.
