it’s a lot of fun watching your type of videos because weirdly enough, it’s so much different than every other bicycling channel i have found. it’s not presenting a product like gcn and it’s not somebody training for a huge event that may need a tad bit of an ego death. i found your channel yesterday and in this span have now watched like 10+ videos. i love it man, keep this content rolling.
also, this unnecessary but may add some creativity if you guys are feeling. again disregard because it’s your channel but i feel like is a good idea in my head, with your job being videographer and youre friends with a bunch of photographers who ride, do a spin wherever you would like but have people take videos and pictures as you go along and include them in transitions. i think it’d be dope as hell, i’m a photographer myself but have wanted to make a youtube channel for forever but i have jus never done it. i feel like this addition to a couple videos would go crazy and add to the whole cinematography

Hi! I actually always ride alone. I think you should start by doing early rides when the roads are clear, do places like East Coast service road / TMCR or Seletar where you can get accustomed to cars around you first! Then later try to join a group there’s plenty actually. If you already have some road sense from driving or biking the road cycling would be easier. Don’t cycle too close to the double yellow lines, you won’t have space if someone squeezes you. Let me know if this helps!

Ah that someone important could be the President of Singapore, his house is there. So you went pass 2 of the President's house, Istana and his actual home.
now your friends know why you are more late while take time to film and talk to us😂. BTW drivers can't use one hand to eat while driving if I am correct. Can cyclist cycle with one hand while filming?
Good vid. That's certainly not the shortest way to RRR. You could have gone straight up Rochor then Bukit Timah rather than through Chinatown. Maybe you wanted the mileage. Anyway, you made it there which is the main thing.
Welcome to my world. im one of those born unlucky i guess, coz every time i go out of my house in my car, i will hit every single traffic light. That's one of the reasons why i prefer to stay in my house. I guess by the time im 60 years old and if i still live in Singapore, i would have wasted 10 years of my life on traffic light.
HAHA that’s a crazy analogy. Actually now I’m going to keep thinking of how much time I’m wasting at traffic lights… 🤣 apparently there are green zone timings though at different areas! The tickers!!!
@@Charlie2000-y7n unfortunately Singapore’s weather is very unpredictable! It’s always hot and humid and when it’s cooler it’s raining! December to early parts of the year is usually the rainy season but it seems to have shifted. Maybe you can try coming after March / April and before Dec.
Tthank you so much Jasper for your advice, I really appreciate it. If you are going to Scandinavia someday, I would recommend going after the winter half year, because there are only a few hours of sunshine during the winter days, and it's really cold in general.
It important and useful if cyclists wear a video camera when on the roads because there are commonly bus drivers or drivers who would tekkan then or even to the extent of committing criminal acta against them. For example, some bus drivers hate cyclists because they can slow them down or make them uncomfortable. But this is partially due to some drivers lacking the confidence and skills to handle cyclists as drivers find it difficult to gauge a safety distance from cyclists. With low EQ, some, out of frustration , could drive in a way as to threaten cyclists seeing they usually do not wear cameras and can get away with their crimes. One bus driver was behind me by sufficient distance allowing to me to signal him in time. I was heading straight on the left most lane and some distance Infront is a slip road. I signalled to the bus driver I am going straight some distance before the slip road. The bus then picked up speed to overtake me but it turned on its left signal as it was beside me and it was inching very close to me in an unsafe way or gap was unsafe. But it slowly continues to inch towards me forcing me to go into the slip road. Because of his signalling I thought he was turning into the slip road but it did not. It just stopped at the junction in the same left-most lane going straight. So the bus driver did wrong to signal wrongly causing confusion to other road users and most importantly, it should have slowed down behind me instead of trying to overtake me when there is no safe distance Infront left as the traffic light was turning red. And he should not have come so near. This is attempted murder. Had I have a camera on, this driver would have lost his job and gone to jail
