The Wanted Me (Unofficial Lyric Music Video)

I wrote the lyrics (On January 12th 2025) to convey a journey of self-reflection, transformation, and empowerment. It is meant to inspire the listener to embrace their flaws, dreams, and creativity as a means of overcoming despair and finding purpose; even with someone you care about.
While the song does not outright display a direct romantic direction, it is also symbolic in how as those of us with partners can also empower one another.
The overarching theme encourages a balance between introspection and outward expression, urging us to view ourselves as both a gift and a source of inspiration.
I wanted the tone to be a blend of contemplative and to be hopeful, with poetic imagery that feels both personal and universal.
The repetition of affirmations ("I will dream, imagine, create, and become inspiring") reinforces the uplifting and motivational nature of the piece, making it resonate as both a personal mantra and a message for others.
I hope the song speaks to you all in what could be perhaps some trials ahead.
