I really want them to bring back the trophy case from NCAA Football 14, showing the trophies you've won in rivalry games and the history of the trophies.
The main reason why non of the good stuff from NCAA14 is in CF25 is because non of thr original developers worked on CF25 and the kids who made this game never played NCAA14. They were too young

Minor things I’d like to see in Dynasty: - A bigger transfer portal, where every team has at least one transfer. - For starter caliber transfers, an additional dealbreaker for playing time. It's strange to see players leave schools where they’re starting for ones where they won’t get any playing time. - Player season stats shown on the Heisman watch screen. - In the top 25 poll, let us see the team’s schedule like in previous games - Coaches’ career stats broken down by season. I’d like to see each coach’s career path. - Improved coach carousel. It’s hard to follow which coach took which job. - Nerf the blocking TE and buff the vertical threat TE. About 8 years into the game 90% of the top TEs are blocking TEs - Fewer white CB
well people transfer out of schools they are starting on for teams where they wont get any playing time. It happens all the time when players transfer to bigger P5 schools for the money or cuz their ego is big and they believe they can start for that team over anyone.
6:01 i remember recruiting a Cornerback and he committed to my school. After his freshman season i encouraged him to transfer because i had better players at his position coming in. Now he's leading the nation in pass deflections at a different school. It's nice to see players who i encourage to transfer don't disappear off the face of the earth.
These are all great ideas man. With that said best we can do is “an all new open world college experience where you can visit the campus shop to conveniently buy all the coins for your ultimate team roster in one quick trip”
They need to add high school and make so RTG can be imported to Madden in a way that actually effects the Madden experience-make the high school/college career relevant to their NFL career.
I would love to see a full Creation Suite of the Dynasty Mode like having our own conference rivalries, customizing the playoff, even having our own rivalry trophies, and letting us add teams instead of replacing them. And for the love of everyone, FIX THE DAMN TEAMBUILDER!
I fear CFB will fall under the same BS Madden has been through, take loved features out, rebrand them as "Brand New" and the people who don't know better will fall for it. Then rinse and repeat
I've got a few more, mostly geared towards Dynasty mode -For recruiting, add the ability to recruit a player's brother or cousin. We can receive benefits towards recruiting family members if we're successful, and negatives if we fail. -Allow us to create a prospect -If you're building a small program, when you recruit your first 4 or 5 star, it'd be cool to hear about it in game. -If you lose out on a recruit to a rival, it'd be cool to hear about it in game. -Better rivalry game records and updates. If I've beaten a rival 3 years in a row, it shouldn't still say "1 year streak" -The ability for new rivalries to form. In or out of conference, and we can create a trophy for the new rivalry -I agree with the transfer portal, it needs to be much more vibrant! If I've got a guy who's been riding the bench for 2 years, he should transfer. Hell, even starters should transfer, but maybe less than backups. Maybe it should be linked to performance, instead of recruiting deal breakers. I don't know, but it needs some attention. -This may be a small one, but fix the helmet settings. It's annoying to keep looking for the exact helmet I want from all the options, go back to the old format of picking the helmet and then picking through the facemask options for that specific model. -Another small one related to the helmet issue. Visor clipping. Should be an easy fix to make the visors clip to all facemask models. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, I can probably think of more
I think it'd be cool to see the top HBCU teams (and FCS) in the game with halftime bands, saw NotTheExpert play an older game that had this. And they definitely need classic teams and All-time teams like in 2K/Older football titles. There should also be more positions to play in RTG and Mascot games
I agree especially since I want old teams the most out of any feature but make them as awards for ranking up online like nba2k too and seeing classic matchups would be so fun! As a Kentucky fan I want 1997 Kentucky and Tennessee with hall of famers Tim couch and Peyton manning with their rival sec teams and they both went to the finals for the heisman voting but sadly my guy Tim couch lost but he was great too
Bro I’ve won 3 or 4 straight nattys in my dynasty and I’ve seen all kind of jank from the CPU. The DBs seemingly have eyes in the back of their heads and can jump 20ft high. Also, no matter how garbage Oregon was they landed a #1 recruiting class for like 10 years straight.
8:27 They need to add punishments for letting players get in trouble too much like in older NCAA games. If you dont suspend troublemakers your team could miss out on bowl games.
I’ve only been around madden since 2020, so I didn’t really know the joy of older games or cfb games. Cfb 25 is my first game that is actually very good and bearable. Love watching your content and keep it up :)
@ yeah my dad had a ps3 or ps2. I remember watching him play always as Florida and playing against FSU. I was born in 2010 so I was maybe 4/5 watching him play it. We have the ps3 but I think it’s broken. Thanks for the comment though! :)

Would love a PC version. I know console players are worried about potential cheaters on PC and that's fine. Keep us separate so I can play something other than College Football Revamped every year.
The problem they said they have with that is since it’s not a licensed game they are worried about mods and stuff impacting the nil deals they made with the schools and players

Yea they’re constant updates throughout the season (roster and jersey as well as general fixes updates) are indicative that they’re much more consistent than madden devs so I’m hoping they’ve seen how much people love this game and continue to build on it. Coach customization is a really good one because I really wanted to be a angry cowboy hat wearing coach like Prime haha. My major wish is the addition to truly play on both sides of the ball instead of looking at a sim screen when not selected to play on that side of the ball. It would add a ton of variety and fun if I was able to play CB and WR or Kick/Punt return for example.
If this had 2k5, 2k8 physics we would be in business... We need to get those games on gamepass asap.. Also they need to allow us to be able to play a franchise/dynasty mode woth a friend online coop.. I want to be on the same team as my friend not against him.. What you missed (I made while watching the video so he might have said some of these later) -gameplay 1.) I’ve noticed while scrambling as soon as the quarterback stops side stepping and starts running the DL immediately break away like it’s scripted, if I were to start running back and fourth in the pocket Atleast 2 of the DL immediately shred the block even if I’m not going anywhere, that needs to be fixed 2.) cpu should react to the situation, they shouldn’t throw the ball away on a third and short when they can take off and run atleast closer to the line to gain -Dynasty 1.) I would like the ability to draw up costum plays and routes for audibles, most coaches bring a piece of their own creativity to the playbook 2.) let us pre- assign things for a game, like uniforms, depth chart, ETC 3.) give us the option to advance by day and hold meetings, do practices, draw up slideshows, do practice, talk with scouts, and so much more 4.) make sure taking care of our facilities actually has an impact on recruits and our own players morale and safety -road to glory 1.) against id love to be able to advance by day and attend meetings as an option, this adds a lot of depth to a road to glory I’m committed too 2.) if I go with a team through the transfer portal and they tell me I’ll be the number one guy before getting 2 players to start over me without telling me again I will lose it, job security bars have to include the same year of transfers, not the upcoming ones only 3.) give us more practice modes including scrimmage -team builder 1.) Give us a logo creator like in MLB the show, and let us build traditions like have a train pass by the stadium or have a cat run onto the field before the game -extras 1.) here me out, create a conference -presentation 1.) don’t make 2 minute warnings last 5 seconds, they should have an update or two from the sidelines like a players injury status, what a coach said about upcoming game plan, or even how a coach can get the team on the right page 2.) make the stat updates show something surprising, like a new personal best for a player 3.) ADD THE BEFORE THE GAME COIN TOSS
The scrambling thing has been a problem for YEARS in madden( and I stopped at Madden 20) for some odd reason the second you push the sprint button behind the line of scrimmage everyone just instantly sheds their blocks
In RTG, if I’m a QB, I should be able to watch my team play defense while my player is not on the field, instead of having to fast sim through these parts of the game.
Historic and all time teams, add classic games like the 06 rose bowl and a museum for schools. I really think this can be a way for players to learn the history of certain programs and the history of college football

Trophy case, greatest games, and (something I didn’t realize wasn’t present until this week in my 10th year with tOSU dynasty) PROTECTED RIVALRIES need to be in the game. Love 25 and have sunk hundreds of hours into it. The on field game feels good to me and recruiting is fine, would like difficulties maybe to crank it up. But the lack of depth off the field with stats, historical data, and rivalry customization is definitely disappointing. Hope they only build upon 25 going forward

@ so I had two QBs who sent to transfer portal. & a running back. 1st QB went to Marshall, the other QB went to Michigan, & RB went to TCU. They don’t have the spring transfer portal window only the winter. So the players automatically go to another team
I’ve put over 550 hours in NCAA 25. I would not be mad if they BARELY touched gameplay. In my opinion, gameplay is about as good as it could be for the first year. I feel like blitzes should be able to get in and pass protection shouldn’t be so scripted (an offensive tackle shouldn’t always be looking at the blitzing corner no matter what), make corner blitzes actually somewhat viable, and linebackers should actually attempt to get a sack and use a pass rush move. The offensive line shouldn’t just not block players however, they should make the interactions for run blocking and pass blocking more organic and less scripted, like the line knows who to block no matter what despite the disguise shown. Last thing is like people should be able to make plays, as long as it’s limited to offline use only 😇
yea uh pass blocking rn is either every blitz is very scripted in terms of looks or the defensive end doesn’t get blocked, or people need to use cheese blitzes it’s kinda cooked rn, i hope they fix that or rework it
i mean some stuff i would like -Blocking overhaul and little scripting and allow organic interactions to work - make the AI actually smart football wise, and they get better intellectually the higher the difficulty and a small speed boost instead of Heisman just being a raw stat buff - Fix pass blocking and run blocking, most double teams don’t climb to the backer - Allow exotic blitzes to actually force pressure and remove cheese blitzes - Bring back high school gameplay for RTG - In RTG, you should be able to actually get kicked off the team or punished for not showing up to practice - Make the game feel a little less arcade like and more realistic, teams should have a feeling of personality - Allow dynamic day and night changes, and a white out in Penn State - Make a home field advantage feel more impactful rather than being really annoying - More in depth presentation (pre game show, preview, analyst prediction, more unique intros for different schools, etc) - Simple slice of life fixes for stuff like the depth chart, auto subs, crossplay, etc - Make it so defenders can’t pick off balls while not even looking at the ball - Nerf the nickel DBL Mug and allow other formations to shine and push players to try new things and become unique - Easier defensive adjustments or add new things (like stunts, simulated pressures, walling, and more)
@tumprman9982 I mean honestly i think there shouldn’t be a NCAA 26, just update 25 with new players, bug fixes, and stuff like this. That way you get the community invested in a game long term (like NCAA 14), and it’s not just cash grab after cash grab for NCAA games. After the gameplay, presentation needs to be more unique, I also feel like the commentary needs a step up. Dode I threw a Hail Mary touchdown when I was down by 4, he mossed 3 defenders and caught it, it was in the Rose Bowl, and the commentators sounded kinda meh. There needs to be more triggers or notices for bigger plays so at least the words don’t feel repetitive, upsets should have the commentary actually going crazy (the game was #3 Ohio State vs #11 Pittsburgh and I won, the commentators should’ve said something 😭). One more thing is a pre game show, preview, and like an analytics section and they talk about like the team’s, stats for the teams, and prediction for the score would be nice, but I’m nitpicking.
I think the AI needs a major step up ngl, I shouldn’t be needing to have the defense move super fast or shed blocks instantly just to make it hard, the AI should be smart, like maybe the AI predicts your play calls and uses audibles for once i mean like the AI could also just use your gameplay from a prior game and game plan against you, like an actual football team when it comes to film. Heck just making the AI actually know football concepts and how to beat them or use concepts and adjust as the game passes would be huge, that way you encourage tactical gameplay rather than needing the AI to have better stats to be a challenge imo

the transfer portal as a whole needs a rework: -more players should enter the portal every year. -would make more sense to have the cut players period be BEFORE the transfer portal, so that the players that have been cut can find a new home -PLAYERS RECRUITED FROM THE PORTAL SHOULD DEVELOP FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR. no idea how EA missed on this
But I loved their idea as making a single player season in ultimate team. Ea just have to bring back old features from older games and update them for CFB 26
For me the big thing is passing lanes and tipped passes at the line. That is, if you have a short QB, you really need to throw into those passing lanes or get outside the pocket. But if you have a QB that's 6'4", he most of the time he doesn't have to worry about it. It also makes controlling D-linemen a little more dynamic as you can just hold your block and try to time the pass to tip it.
They need to allow you to go into replay mode in your road to glory after a play that you turn the ball over so you can go into replay mode and find out were you went wrong during the play. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to throw a pick and can’t go into replay mode to see what happened
Just started the video. They need to add a hot route system for linemen, backs, and TEs on the line. My idea is you could select your linemen and the box defenders would have buttons (like manning a defensive player to a wr) above there head. Also being able to tell a guard to pull or stay if his the gap is in danger and the center can't get to/has a nose defender. This would save them the headache of people saying they don't know blocking by making us know the blocking ourself. Obviously keep what they have but allow us to change assignments if we want.
Love your content, just one small correction: when you cut/ encourage a player to transfer they don't just disappear from the game, 95% of the time they'll be placed on another school's roster. They're not a part of the transfer recruiting process and there's no notification or easy way to track what's happened to them after they left your school, but if you search through the rosters you'll find the players you cut/encouraged to transfer. It's just really time consuming and not at all intuitive or streamlined
This is a laundry list of things that probably won’t be in the game until 2030, realistically. I just want 6 things. In dynasty, neutral site games, the ability to add custom teams, create your own recruit and the ability to apply for different coaching positions instead of only taking what’s offered. For RTG, just add high school games. Lastly, I want the ability to build a custom playbook and that’s it. I know exporting rosters from CFB to Madden will be tough with the legal challenges. But I can be patient for that
You should make a review on hoop land right now or when the my career mode when is finalized because its in is beta which means u can't get in the nba/pro league after the 4 years in college. (premium or not u still can't for now)
I really want Stadium Creator for Teambuilder and Renovations/Expansions for stadiums in Dynasty like if I rebuild UMASS into a 4 Star School then I should renovate or expand the stadium from 10,000 seats to a 55,000 seat stadium with expanded sidelines seats and press boxes and bleachers and 2 new jumbotrons behind each endzone
We need a better transfer portal If i won the past 2 national championships, WHY HAVE 85% OF ALL TRANSFERS LOCKED ME OUT ALREADY In real life, at least half of all transfers would be begging to get a shot on my team. It needs to be like recruiting where (almost) every team has a chance to recruit (almost) every prospect.

I think this game has taken several steps backwards from '14. And it's kinda sad, especially with this game being TWO CONSOLE GENERATIONS into the future from '14. Dynasty was so barebones that it's tough coming back to. These kinds of videos are gonna be the norm every year now that EA has "the highest selling sports game", because they don't NEED to do anything. People will buy...like Madden. Sad, hope I'm wrong!
GREAT VIDEO!!! You hit on a lot of stuff I wanted. I want them to add, along with all the stuff you mentioned, is the ability to edit the Team Builder roster. Full customization of our Team Builder teams (Stadium, tunnel, seats, the area around the stadium (campus, ake, park, rural area, etc. Like the OG NCAA game) More jersey variety, A video package before the game that starts that shows the 2 teams that are about to play. ESPN College Gameday pregame, like the OG NCAA games. Literally boot up the OG NCAA Football games and NFL 2K games and take a lot of notes from those games and try to add these things to the game.
Man, all I want is in-depth stadium builder,custom rivalries with generic trophies, custom pregame, and 3rd down traditions and able to edit the grades of your school before dynasty (big team builder fan)
Do you think College Football 25 is worth getting at half price? I know it probably is, but I haven’t bought a new football game since Madden 20 and I’m kinda scared it won’t be good.

I agree with most of what you said in your wish list. (although some of them are currently in the game via settings). EA promised a "Sandbox" for dynasty but the more I play it the more restrictive it seems. Let me do something with all my extra points that that I earn after my coach has reached level 50 like respeck my coach or purchase additional upgrades. allow me to apply for any job openings that become available instead of waiting to be offered schools. I would love to see some of these changes and even a toggle to turn these features on or off. like the option to have no level cap for coaches or to keep them on.
I do think option runs could be more polished, but I enjoy it at its current state. It’s hard and risky to pull off, but if done correctly it can be one of the best plays in the game, in which I find pretty realistic
1) Wear and Tear quick swap: tell your starter to sit until he's better by the push of a button (you can preset fatigue substitution but not w&t?) 2) someone block on punt return 3) lighting the cheer squads 4) yeah, historic stats of your previous years 5) fix starting year of your coaching at a school 6) stop playing the freshman speech when you transfer to a new school as a player 7) give full stats of players of the week, looks ridiculous as it is
6:07: I actually thought this too, but then I decided to go through every team's QB rooms to find the QBs I cut because they were either terrible or I needed to free up roster space. As it turns out, they don't enter the transfer portal per se, but they just get switched to some other random team. I know two of the QBs I cut in my Arkansas dynasty went to Clemson and Ball State, respectively.
I definitely like a lot of your points. I think EA wanted to see how a college game would fair and took it easy. The only issue for a lot of these, they’d have to make changes to Madden so they won’t happen
Number one to add is way more fun in multiplayer with your friends. Add more customization in unranked games with your friends along with the ability to use custom teams. When you swap players on defense to make a play you should go to the best option nearby the ball carrier. It feels like it randomly chooses the 3 guys around him. Snow needs improved, looks fake and disappears by the second half
Need more insta commits. I play as Texas and I get like 1 every 3 or so years. As Texas there should be a few guys each yr that would instantly commit if I offered them a scholarship. This should go hand in hand with the favorite team idea you mentioned. If a players fav team offers they should have an extremely high chance of insta committing
I wish you could change the recruiting difficulty and also how well player progression. I feel like any dynasty I do within 2-3 years I can take Kent State to an 85 overall. Wish that it was harder. Also, I feel like they could modify the portal a bit more so that more guys jump in the portal. Especially great players from non power 5 conferences. Also for realism there should be 2 portal windows like in real life. That way cut players go to the spring portal or any other guy who wants to leave

A stadium editor where once you start gaining prestige you can upgrade stadiums. Because there’s no way a 3 peat national championship team would be playing in the same high school sized stadium they started with when they were a 1 star program.

Minor things I’d like to see in Dynasty:
- A bigger transfer portal, where every team has at least one transfer.
- For starter caliber transfers, an additional dealbreaker for playing time. It's strange to see players leave schools where they’re starting for ones where they won’t get any playing time.
- Player season stats shown on the Heisman watch screen.
- In the top 25 poll, let us see the team’s schedule like in previous games
- Coaches’ career stats broken down by season. I’d like to see each coach’s career path.
- Improved coach carousel. It’s hard to follow which coach took which job.
- Nerf the blocking TE and buff the vertical threat TE. About 8 years into the game 90% of the top TEs are blocking TEs
- Fewer white CB
well people transfer out of schools they are starting on for teams where they wont get any playing time. It happens all the time when players transfer to bigger P5 schools for the money or cuz their ego is big and they believe they can start for that team over anyone.

6:01 i remember recruiting a Cornerback and he committed to my school. After his freshman season i encouraged him to transfer because i had better players at his position coming in. Now he's leading the nation in pass deflections at a different school. It's nice to see players who i encourage to transfer don't disappear off the face of the earth.

They need to add high school and make so RTG can be imported to Madden in a way that actually effects the Madden experience-make the high school/college career relevant to their NFL career.
I would love to see a full Creation Suite of the Dynasty Mode like having our own conference rivalries, customizing the playoff, even having our own rivalry trophies, and letting us add teams instead of replacing them. And for the love of everyone, FIX THE DAMN TEAMBUILDER!
You should be able to play your Teambuilder team offline if you want...14 let you do it no problem... That's my biggest beef about the game....

I've got a few more, mostly geared towards Dynasty mode
-For recruiting, add the ability to recruit a player's brother or cousin. We can receive benefits towards recruiting family members if we're successful, and negatives if we fail.
-Allow us to create a prospect
-If you're building a small program, when you recruit your first 4 or 5 star, it'd be cool to hear about it in game.
-If you lose out on a recruit to a rival, it'd be cool to hear about it in game.
-Better rivalry game records and updates. If I've beaten a rival 3 years in a row, it shouldn't still say "1 year streak"
-The ability for new rivalries to form. In or out of conference, and we can create a trophy for the new rivalry
-I agree with the transfer portal, it needs to be much more vibrant! If I've got a guy who's been riding the bench for 2 years, he should transfer. Hell, even starters should transfer, but maybe less than backups. Maybe it should be linked to performance, instead of recruiting deal breakers. I don't know, but it needs some attention.
-This may be a small one, but fix the helmet settings. It's annoying to keep looking for the exact helmet I want from all the options, go back to the old format of picking the helmet and then picking through the facemask options for that specific model.
-Another small one related to the helmet issue. Visor clipping. Should be an easy fix to make the visors clip to all facemask models.

I think it'd be cool to see the top HBCU teams (and FCS) in the game with halftime bands, saw NotTheExpert play an older game that had this. And they definitely need classic teams and All-time teams like in 2K/Older football titles. There should also be more positions to play in RTG and Mascot games
I agree especially since I want old teams the most out of any feature but make them as awards for ranking up online like nba2k too and seeing classic matchups would be so fun! As a Kentucky fan I want 1997 Kentucky and Tennessee with hall of famers Tim couch and Peyton manning with their rival sec teams and they both went to the finals for the heisman voting but sadly my guy Tim couch lost but he was great too

Bro I’ve won 3 or 4 straight nattys in my dynasty and I’ve seen all kind of jank from the CPU. The DBs seemingly have eyes in the back of their heads and can jump 20ft high. Also, no matter how garbage Oregon was they landed a #1 recruiting class for like 10 years straight.

I’ve only been around madden since 2020, so I didn’t really know the joy of older games or cfb games. Cfb 25 is my first game that is actually very good and bearable. Love watching your content and keep it up :)
you should get a 360 and get madden 08 madden 11 NCAA 09 NCAA 10 NCAA 11 NCAA 13 and NCAA 14 and all pro 2k8 those are my favorite older sports games

The behind camera in rtg needs urgent attention. Rtg itself just needs more love. Not all of us play online or competitively.
Would love a PC version. I know console players are worried about potential cheaters on PC and that's fine. Keep us separate so I can play something other than College Football Revamped every year.
The problem they said they have with that is since it’s not a licensed game they are worried about mods and stuff impacting the nil deals they made with the schools and players

Yea they’re constant updates throughout the season (roster and jersey as well as general fixes updates) are indicative that they’re much more consistent than madden devs so I’m hoping they’ve seen how much people love this game and continue to build on it. This is the most I’ve played ea football game probably since the old madden 25
Coach customization is a really good one because I really wanted to be a angry cowboy hat wearing coach like Prime haha. My major wish is the addition to truly play on both sides of the ball instead of looking at a sim screen when not selected to play on that side of the ball. It would add a ton of variety and fun if I was able to play CB and WR or Kick/Punt return for example.
My only issue about recruits is that Possession and Vertical Threat Tight Ends have a VERY LOW Cap ceiling even when they are Elite Dev

I’ve noticed while scrambling as soon as the quarterback stops side stepping and starts running the DL immediately break away like it’s scripted, if I were to start running back and fourth in the pocket Atleast 2 of the DL immediately shred the block even if I’m not going anywhere, that needs to be fixed
2.) cpu should react to the situation, they shouldn’t throw the ball away on a third and short when they can take off and run atleast closer to the line to gain
-Dynasty
1.) I would like the ability to draw up costum plays and routes for audibles, most coaches bring a piece of their own creativity to the playbook
2.) let us pre- assign things for a game, like uniforms, depth chart, ETC
3.) give us the option to advance by day and hold meetings, do practices, draw up slideshows, do practice, talk with scouts, and so much more
4.) make sure taking care of our facilities actually has an impact on recruits and our own players morale and safety

1.) against id love to be able to advance by day and attend meetings as an option, this adds a lot of depth to a road to glory I’m committed too
2.) if I go with a team through the transfer portal and they tell me I’ll be the number one guy before getting 2 players to start over me without telling me again I will lose it, job security bars have to include the same year of transfers, not the upcoming ones only
3.) give us more practice modes including scrimmage

1.) Give us a logo creator like in MLB the show, and let us build traditions like have a train pass by the stadium or have a cat run onto the field before the game

1.) don’t make 2 minute warnings last 5 seconds, they should have an update or two from the sidelines like a players injury status, what a coach said about upcoming game plan, or even how a coach can get the team on the right page

The scrambling thing has been a problem for YEARS in madden( and I stopped at Madden 20) for some odd reason the second you push the sprint button behind the line of scrimmage everyone just instantly sheds their blocks

Trophy case, greatest games, and (something I didn’t realize wasn’t present until this week in my 10th year with tOSU dynasty) PROTECTED RIVALRIES need to be in the game. Love 25 and have sunk hundreds of hours into it. The on field game feels good to me and recruiting is fine, would like difficulties maybe to crank it up. But the lack of depth off the field with stats, historical data, and rivalry customization is definitely disappointing. Hope they only build upon 25 going forward

@ so I had two QBs who sent to transfer portal. & a running back. 1st QB went to Marshall, the other QB went to Michigan, & RB went to TCU. They don’t have the spring transfer portal window only the winter. So the players automatically go to another team
I’ve put over 550 hours in NCAA 25. I would not be mad if they BARELY touched gameplay. In my opinion, gameplay is about as good as it could be for the first year.
Instead of gameplay, focus on the small game details like weather changing, dynamic time, better post play camera shots, better crowd celebrations,

A small thing for me that I’ve never seen in a sports game. A co-op superstar/campus legend mode
I feel like blitzes should be able to get in and pass protection shouldn’t be so scripted (an offensive tackle shouldn’t always be looking at the blitzing corner no matter what), make corner blitzes actually somewhat viable, and linebackers should actually attempt to get a sack and use a pass rush move. The offensive line shouldn’t just not block players however, they should make the interactions for run blocking and pass blocking more organic and less scripted, like the line knows who to block no matter what despite the disguise shown. Last thing is like people should be able to make plays, as long as it’s limited to offline use only 😇
yea uh pass blocking rn is either every blitz is very scripted in terms of looks or the defensive end doesn’t get blocked, or people need to use cheese blitzes

-Blocking overhaul and little scripting and allow organic interactions to work
- make the AI actually smart football wise, and they get better intellectually the higher the difficulty and a small speed boost instead of Heisman just being a raw stat buff
- Fix pass blocking and run blocking, most double teams don’t climb to the backer
- Allow exotic blitzes to actually force pressure and remove cheese blitzes
- Bring back high school gameplay for RTG
- In RTG, you should be able to actually get kicked off the team or punished for not showing up to practice
- Make the game feel a little less arcade like and more realistic, teams should have a feeling of personality
- Allow dynamic day and night changes, and a white out in Penn State
- Make a home field advantage feel more impactful rather than being really annoying
- More in depth presentation (pre game show, preview, analyst prediction, more unique intros for different schools, etc)
- Simple slice of life fixes for stuff like the depth chart, auto subs, crossplay, etc
- Make it so defenders can’t pick off balls while not even looking at the ball
- Nerf the nickel DBL Mug and allow other formations to shine and push players to try new things and become unique
- Easier defensive adjustments or add new things (like stunts, simulated pressures, walling, and more)
@tumprman9982 I mean honestly i think there shouldn’t be a NCAA 26, just update 25 with new players, bug fixes, and stuff like this. That way you get the community invested in a game long term (like NCAA 14), and it’s not just cash grab after cash grab for NCAA games. After the gameplay, presentation needs to be more unique, I also feel like the commentary needs a step up. Dode I threw a Hail Mary touchdown when I was down by 4, he mossed 3 defenders and caught it, it was in the Rose Bowl, and the commentators sounded kinda meh. There needs to be more triggers or notices for bigger plays so at least the words don’t feel repetitive, upsets should have the commentary actually going crazy (the game was #3 Ohio State vs #11 Pittsburgh and I won, the commentators should’ve said something 😭). One more thing is a pre game show, preview, and like an analytics section and they talk about like the team’s, stats for the teams, and prediction for the score would be nice, but I’m nitpicking.
I think the AI needs a major step up ngl, I shouldn’t be needing to have the defense move super fast or shed blocks instantly just to make it hard, the AI should be smart, like maybe the AI predicts your play calls and uses audibles for once
i mean like the AI could also just use your gameplay from a prior game and game plan against you, like an actual football team when it comes to film. Heck just making the AI actually know football concepts and how to beat them or use concepts and adjust as the game passes would be huge, that way you encourage tactical gameplay rather than needing the AI to have better stats to be a challenge imo

the transfer portal as a whole needs a rework:
-more players should enter the portal every year.
-would make more sense to have the cut players period be BEFORE the transfer portal, so that the players that have been cut can find a new home
-PLAYERS RECRUITED FROM THE PORTAL SHOULD DEVELOP FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR. no idea how EA missed on this
When you cut players they do end up on teams if they’re a high enough overall. And it’s usually the teams at the top of the list

But I loved their idea as making a single player season in ultimate team. Ea just have to bring back old features from older games and update them for CFB 26
For me the big thing is passing lanes and tipped passes at the line. That is, if you have a short QB, you really need to throw into those passing lanes or get outside the pocket. But if you have a QB that's 6'4", he most of the time he doesn't have to worry about it. It also makes controlling D-linemen a little more dynamic as you can just hold your block and try to time the pass to tip it.

They need to allow you to go into replay mode in your road to glory after a play that you turn the ball over so you can go into replay mode and find out were you went wrong during the play. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to throw a pick and can’t go into replay mode to see what happened
Give us some less rubber banding AI I can never find a sweetspot in terms of difficulty

Just started the video. They need to add a hot route system for linemen, backs, and TEs on the line. My idea is you could select your linemen and the box defenders would have buttons (like manning a defensive player to a wr) above there head. Also being able to tell a guard to pull or stay if his the gap is in danger and the center can't get to/has a nose defender. This would save them the headache of people saying they don't know blocking by making us know the blocking ourself. Obviously keep what they have but allow us to change assignments if we want.
Love your content, just one small correction: when you cut/ encourage a player to transfer they don't just disappear from the game, 95% of the time they'll be placed on another school's roster. They're not a part of the transfer recruiting process and there's no notification or easy way to track what's happened to them after they left your school, but if you search through the rosters you'll find the players you cut/encouraged to transfer. It's just really time consuming and not at all intuitive or streamlined
This is a laundry list of things that probably won’t be in the game until 2030, realistically. I just want 6 things. In dynasty, neutral site games, the ability to add custom teams, create your own recruit and the ability to apply for different coaching positions instead of only taking what’s offered. For RTG, just add high school games. Lastly, I want the ability to build a custom playbook and that’s it. I know exporting rosters from CFB to Madden will be tough with the legal challenges. But I can be patient for that
You should make a review on hoop land right now or when the my career mode when is finalized because its in is beta which means u can't get in the nba/pro league after the 4 years in college. (premium or not u still can't for now)

I think this game has taken several steps backwards from '14. And it's kinda sad, especially with this game being TWO CONSOLE GENERATIONS into the future from '14. Dynasty was so barebones that it's tough coming back to. These kinds of videos are gonna be the norm every year now that EA has "the highest selling sports game", because they don't NEED to do anything. People will buy...like Madden. Sad, hope I'm wrong!

I want them to add, along with all the stuff you mentioned, is the ability to edit the Team Builder roster. Full customization of our Team Builder teams (Stadium, tunnel, seats, the area around the stadium (campus, ake, park, rural area, etc. Like the OG NCAA game) More jersey variety, A video package before the game that starts that shows the 2 teams that are about to play. ESPN College Gameday pregame, like the OG NCAA games. Literally boot up the OG NCAA Football games and NFL 2K games and take a lot of notes from those games and try to add these things to the game.
Myself and many others I know really would like the FCS teams back, that'd be the feature I'd be most excited about!

Alas, i unfortunately feel nothing may change until EA as the sole owner of sports games sadly change from the Frostbite engine if they still use it.
I agree with most of what you said in your wish list. (although some of them are currently in the game via settings). EA promised a "Sandbox" for dynasty but the more I play it the more restrictive it seems. Let me do something with all my extra points that that I earn after my coach has reached level 50 like respeck my coach or purchase additional upgrades. allow me to apply for any job openings that become available instead of waiting to be offered schools. I would love to see some of these changes and even a toggle to turn these features on or off. like the option to have no level cap for coaches or to keep them on.
I do think option runs could be more polished, but I enjoy it at its current state. It’s hard and risky to pull off, but if done correctly it can be one of the best plays in the game, in which I find pretty realistic
1) Wear and Tear quick swap: tell your starter to sit until he's better by the push of a button (you can preset fatigue substitution but not w&t?)
2) someone block on punt return
3) lighting the cheer squads
4) yeah, historic stats of your previous years
5) fix starting year of your coaching at a school
6) stop playing the freshman speech when you transfer to a new school as a player
7) give full stats of players of the week, looks ridiculous as it is
6:07: I actually thought this too, but then I decided to go through every team's QB rooms to find the QBs I cut because they were either terrible or I needed to free up roster space. As it turns out, they don't enter the transfer portal per se, but they just get switched to some other random team. I know two of the QBs I cut in my Arkansas dynasty went to Clemson and Ball State, respectively.

Number one to add is way more fun in multiplayer with your friends. Add more customization in unranked games with your friends along with the ability to use custom teams.
When you swap players on defense to make a play you should go to the best option nearby the ball carrier. It feels like it randomly chooses the 3 guys around him.

Need more insta commits. I play as Texas and I get like 1 every 3 or so years. As Texas there should be a few guys each yr that would instantly commit if I offered them a scholarship. This should go hand in hand with the favorite team idea you mentioned. If a players fav team offers they should have an extremely high chance of insta committing

I wish you could change the recruiting difficulty and also how well player progression. I feel like any dynasty I do within 2-3 years I can take Kent State to an 85 overall. Wish that it was harder. Also, I feel like they could modify the portal a bit more so that more guys jump in the portal. Especially great players from non power 5 conferences. Also for realism there should be 2 portal windows like in real life. That way cut players go to the spring portal or any other guy who wants to leave
Better blocking and Pass rushing, being able to watch cpu games in dynasty without having to add a member every time you want to watch a game

The trophy room should be in the real life team facilities that would be cool to walk thru to see your achievements

I wanna be able to return punts & kicks in road to glory. Makes no sense how im the starting return man on my CB & RB, yet the game won't allow me to play special teams. Mind u, i have a 99 kick return rating.

The one thing I want most and this goes for madden too is classic teams and make them as awards for ranking up online like nba2k and maybe make some spots generic players it would be my dream to use Randy moss Marshall or Michigan Tom Brady or especially heisman finalist Tim couch Kentucky and have that same year Peyton manning team because those 2 legends and rivalry game between them was historic for both qbs
