This was me after I got frustrated with elaborate spreads. I started very minimalist and have now started adding washi tape and doodles slowly. Love this tips and can't wait to try some of these things.
putting stickers down is truly therapeutic! art is too, but I just don’t have nice enough handwriting. love that acknowledgment that different people express creativity differently in their planners ✨💫⭐️💗
I’m actually an illustrator but I want to keep my art for full page sketches and artwork and my planner for planning, so these are great! I also love washi tape, sticky notes, pastel highlighters, stamps…all the high inducing shiny stuff that JetPens delivers 🥰
Love washi tapes. They make my serious looking journal more lively.... they remind me to have a little fun...the various small memos are useful, too. They make you more creative designing a simple blank journal into an efficient, "just for you" working or personal notebook.

I'm not focused enough to bujo, but I do have a journal! I will use these tips and tricks... I recently made my first purchase ever from jetpens, still waiting to receive it.
I'd dropped out of watching these videos for a while because I'm not using a bullet journal this year. The narration has gotten way more natural! It was alway very informative but it feels much more comfortable now.

It's not that I am "lazy"---I am just not that artistically gifted :-D. So stickers, stamps, washi-tape , those accessories are great for me. Also grid paper works well (it is my preference ) for making boxes. It is nice to see someone acknowledge that keeping your journal in a way that works for you is what is important. Being an artist is not a requirement. You can even be "lazy people like us" lol
I love this! I would love to have a pretty planner but I can’t even draw a stick man. This has given me so many ideas on how to get around my lack of artistic ability!
oh man, tell this to my boxes and boxes of washi tapes, sticky notes, and stickers xD I'm not much of an artist, but crafty stuff with decorations I can do :)
I've realized that using graph paper can be helpful, too. I like clearer lines, and I don't trust myself to do that without a ruler dotted paper or no, but graph paper takes care of that. I also like how it's a bit easier to see where the lines would be, so I won't have to spend as much time blocking off space and using lines to divide things because the lines would already exist. It's easier to organize things on graph, too and just really needs a bit of color to separate things, rather than having to add lines to bullet journals for initial blocking off. That's just my opinion, though - I realized I was resistant to using bullet journals because I want clearer lines to start things off, and I'm not restricted to being horizontal which is an appeal for bullet journals as well.

I use a black frixion pen with one color of pastel (sea glass) frixion highlighter and a gray mildliner, and i think it looks so nice. I want to get a gray frixion highlighter but I've heard it's too dark and I've spent too much on pens recently that i don't even use lol
It’s funny how I do actually have the time and energy to do this, but sometimes I just don’t get it right or don’t make the designs as pretty for some reason 😅
