Listening to this man speak is like bathing ur vocabulary cleans up ur thoughts and empty out the trash in our minds. He gives u a better view by using ur own eyes than he gives them back to u and then explains what he did so u won't fall back into ur blind ways of seeing things 👌👌❤❤. Shaun rocks the city TV show posted on TH-cam.

James Baldwin is so deep, insightful, and powerful. He makes us see parts of ourselves we’ve tried to hide from. He does the same for the culture.

Giovanni’s Room was as perfect a novel as could be. It was a touchstone in my life. Mr. Baldwin is one of America’s treasures.

. . . his understanding of the United States and race relations is far beyond his time and even seems like a God-given message to the world.... #imAfan

White America acts like they don't know but they know what Black people go through. They know they wouldn't go through it . Black people are in endless danger . These two thoughts of Baldwin still resonates with us Today.

He exposes all the inconsistencies in our perception but also addresses the the reason for this.

    James Edwards
James Baldwin is an American Icon. He tells it like it is. I wished that all preachers were like him.

Kay Bonetti is the first interviewer I've heard who knew what he is talking about. She's great.

I love the fact that she actually LISTENS TO WHAT HE SAYS. A lot of the. male. interviewers start talking over him or contest or white-splain. Yes this. is a. great interview.

I think about Whitney Houston as Baldwin talks about how the gospel singer becomes , "showbusiness property. "

Why are so many uploaded recordings of Mr. James Baldwin muted at certain parts of the conversation? e.g. here @31:45 Archived recordings for many authors of this era are recorded and uploaded fully yet I've noticed a blank pattern with Mr. Baldwins speaking engagements

MorenitaScorp Often times, well at least in the case of the debate with Buckley I was able to search for the transcript online and was able to read what was missed (muted out). I’ll hv to find the title of this interview and see if I can find its transcript.

The Most High GOD gave him a special gift. But not his life style. He did not leave a seed to live on after him to keep the generation going.

Vee Israel he left a seed in the consciousness of countless oppressed generations globally. His discreet lifestyle was his business to sort out with his God just as yours is. Peace.
