I was a Bowie fanatic years prior to Scary Monsters, and having loved “Ashes to Ashes” passionately since the day the single debuted, I was completely uninterested in any unofficial remixing. I was practically forced to give this a chance by a friend to whom I’m truly grateful. It’s amazing to hear myself saying it, but I love what you’ve done! And if you’re not a professional audio engineer, you might want to reconsider you choice of career. I have one tiny quibble, and I hope you won’t mind if I ask about it. Why did you omit the stunning sound of Major Tom “roaring,” (as I can only describe it)? Again, top flight work! Thanks for sharing it with us.
